Roberts 10-616-2A Conventional Carpet Trimmer with 20 Heavy-Duty Slotted Blades

I used the Roberts 10-616-2A Carpet Trimmer for my basement carpet install, and it made a tough job so much easier. The build quality is great — it feels sturdy and well-balanced, with a handle that’s comfortable to grip even after a couple of hours of trimming. The cutting performance is impressive. It makes clean, precise edge cuts without pulling or fraying the carpet fibers. The adjustable settings are a huge plus since they let me dial in the depth for different carpet thicknesses. Once you get the hang of adjusting it, it handles standard and thicker carpets with no problem. Changing blades is quick and straightforward, and I appreciate that it comes with plenty of spares right out of the box. One thing to note: there’s a small learning curve if you haven’t used a trimmer like this before, but once you practice a bit, it’s smooth sailing.
