## Description

CSNDICE Romer LED Rechargeable Handheld Searchlight High-Power Super Bright 9000 MA 6000 LUMENS CREE Tactical Spotlight Torch Lantern Flashlight (Gold) : desertcart.co.uk: DIY & Tools

Review: I believe it (9000LM) and it's a good value for the money - I bought an all‑metal, weatherproof, O‑ring‑sealed “tactical” lantern back in 2017 for about $75, and it served me well for years (see photos of the old, beat‑up unit). When its coax charging jack started acting up, I went looking for a replacement — but desertcart and eBay didn’t seem to have anything similar. I wanted a light that hangs from the hand rather than a typical flashlight or a hunter‑style spotlight. My old unit used four CREE XML‑T6 emitters in four reflectors and produced a bright beam that was perfect for backyard use. Most modern options either lacked the brightness, the focused spot, or the right handle design. This new model seemed reasonably priced, and I wasn’t concerned about O‑rings or waterproofing. I’m not hiking or rafting with it — we just use it to check out the occasional disturbance in our suburban backyard. Bottom line: I’m very happy with it and plan to buy a few more as gifts for family and friends. PROS Use while charging — Can operate while plugged in. Beam performance — Extremely tight, bright spot (see photos). Lightweight design — Only 420 g without cords or lanyard, easy for older hands. Simple interface — Only three modes, making it much easier to turn off than lights requiring 5–6 button presses. Charging adapter — Excellent adapter, but don’t lose or break it (see photos). Charger is built into the USB‑to‑coax cable. Red/green LEDs show charging status, though the lantern itself has no battery indicator (see photos). CONS (These don’t bother me personally, but may matter to others.) Rubber port cover — The silicone USB/coax door partially blocks the charging jack, but the plug still inserts fully (see photos). No waterproofing — No O‑rings, sealant, or weatherproofing (see photos). Battery pack alignment — Mine arrived with the battery pack slightly tipped over. It doesn’t rattle. Maybe the foam/adhesive inside has softened over time? My simple fix is shown in the photos, but I wouldn’t have noticed the issue if I hadn’t opened the unit for unrelated reasons.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this flashlight be charged with usb? using a home computer or car charger? If I use ac current can I charge is with 220 volts of current ?**
A: Yes. It is a USB power cable that comes with it. USB on the power side and a round power plug similar to a laptop power plug on the flashlight side. I would assume any USB adapter would work even if you have 220 power as most adapters can do both 220 and 110 but you would have to look at the adapter.

**Q: How many modes**
A: Two modes
  high mode - spotlight (1650FT)
low mode - spotlight (825FT)

**Q: Does this led light recognize/take advantage of 'quick' or 'fast' usb chargers?**
A: A higher MAh charger will charge it up quicker. And im not sure what Mary got....but it's far brighter than any regular flashlight i've ever seen.

**Q: 6,000 Lumens is quite a claim. Does it really achieve this brightness?**
A: This light is not only seriously bright, it is dangerously bright, like Anti-Aircraft spotting, or blinding somebody you knew was going to attack you, might even be too bright for city use, waiting for new or no moon to fully test but it lights up bright a block away. Incredible how the center Spot beam is bright, bright 6' circle at about 130' & the flood light a much bigger area at the same time.
