I would have given it a 5 star except for the following. I have a XL AT hernia belt from a few years ago that fits perfect. This one, also XL, is longer by about 5 inches. What I did was cut off about 5 inches at the end of the belt, which has the velcro strip. I then sewed this piece on the end of the shorted belt. Now it fits like the old one. My hip measurement is 43".Measure around the top of the hips, not the waist:Small=26-30"Medium=32-36"Large=38-42"X-Large=44-48"XX-Large=48-52"

it's hard to believe how well this thing works but it does.I always wear it when I'm going to be on my feet for a long time.i have virtually no pain when I have it on. when I don't have it on I have to find somewhere to sit down every ten minutes or so. I'm seventy years old and don't really want to have surgery. with this belt I fell like I can avoid it. I like it so well i just ordered a second one as a backup.

Would love it, but I really don't want it. helps though, so I wear it.
