I purchased the 24" neiko magnetic sweeper. The body is 24" long and overall length with wheels is 28". The build quality is actually much better than I anticipated. The handle on mine is made of decent steel tubing with a 16 gauge wall thickness, it attaches to the 14 gauge steel mounting bracket and is solid. The four magnets inside are very strong! I assembled it on my table saw and at one point I accidentally got it stuck to the steel top and I had one heck of a time getting it off. I set the wheels to their lowest setting because my garage/shop floor is heavily pitted from 35 years of road salt and abuse. But I was pleasantly surprised by how well this sweeper worked. I've attached two pictures showing the tiny metal pieces and the metal dust from grinding and plasma cutting it picked up in one quick pass. It even pulled metal particles out of the craters in my concrete floor. I just swept the floor yesterday and even vacuumed part of it. One pull of the release handle and everything fell into my trash can. Overall I am pleased with the build quality and how well it works for my application. My only caveat is the way you adjust the height of the wheels. You have to remove 8 small screws to pull out the end caps to access the head of the axle bolt. It's a tedious process but in the end it does work. It's important that my floor is clean so my dogs don't get metal slivers in their paws. In conclusion, I would have no problem buying this sweeper again and/or recommending it to family and friends.

Works amazing. I have a Stone driveway and had the roof above my garage completely ripped off and it was cedar shake so nails were flying everywhere as they were ripping off nails would get get lost in between the stones under the stones. Several passes with this, and I felt very secure most of the nails if not all we’re gone

Worked really well picking up nails, screws an and other metal debris left by the contractors during a recent deck project. It works great on concrete, good on short grass, but not as well on medium or longer grass. The clearance is really low so it may pick things up but small humps or clumps of grass can catch what you picked up leaving it somewhere else. Hard packed gravel it does well. Not so much in loose or thick gravel. I would buy another one, but this thing seems like it will last a long time.

Easy to put together less the 5 mins required. the magnet is strong. I bought this for my driveway because we have family members that drop screws, sparkplugs nails ect out of the truck. I now sweep after they leave in hopes of no more flat tires! so far so good I have picked up many screws

LOVEEEEE!! We have an older home, and after every big storm I run this through the yard. The amount of RUSTY OLD NAILS this thing finds is INSANE. I've found several right where my children were actively playing. It takes just a few minutes and gives me so much peace of mind. Every parent with kids who play outside needs one of these!

I use this around my siding and roofing jobs because it seems no matter how careful the crew is, there will be screws or nails on the ground. This thing is always good insurance to keep from having to buy a tire or try to get the contractor to pay for a tire. It has two levels so you can set the height for paved driveways or grassy yards. When you turn it over, the magnet moves inside and it will dump all the nails and screws it picked up so you can dispose of them. It is not as sturdy built as one of the professional ones, but for my needs, it is just about perfect. I would recommend this item. Works great.

I’m of two minds about this product, Does it do what they claim? Yes, it does. Is it built well? For the most part. My biggest beef is the single bolt that attaches the handle to the lower assembly. The carriage bolt and wing nut will not cinch tight so the handle is wonky. I’ll be fixing that with a hex bolt, washer and a lock tight nut. Then I’m adding a second so it stays solidly in place. My next gripe is the length of all thread that acts as the axel. For my purpose, I needed to adjust it to be able to roll around in a lawn to pickup nails after my roof was replaced. That was a pain in the butt. The end caps are plastic and flimsy plastic at that. Either a metal plate or a thicker plastic cap would’ve been so much better to be able to adjust it. My next modification will be the wheels. I need more clearance for my needs, so I need a larger diameter wheel. But the wheel provided will fail eventually because it has no bearing. An all thread axel and a plastic hub will wear on each otherband we’re back to wonky. A sleeve bearing would have been better. Last the handle that lifts the internal magnet is a good idea, but again, it’s sloppy and loose to the point of distraction. Oh and all the hardware is metric. Grrr… The packaging while adequate was a little suss. It arrived intact, but its that typical overseas cardboard that is just papery corrugated with half a roll of packaging tape to keep it together. They did have just enough bubble wrap to keep it protected during shipping. To sum up, it does what it is intended to do. For a garage or shop, with a smooth surface to roll on, it will work just fine. For “off-road” use, it needs some tweaking. I think they probably started out with a decent design, then they made it out of cheap parts.

it has a simple mechanical design. the magnet is enclosed inside of a thin sheet metal box. the magnet sits at the bottom of the box, and the nails are picked up by it and stick to the bottom outside of that sheet metal box. then when you are done, you life the magent up using the handle, the magnetic field dies, and most of what you picked up falls off of the bottom of the sheet metal box. seems well built. with some care, it should last a decade. it is pretty heavy....and big, so you will need some wall space somewhere to store it on.

Muy buena compra, sirve en la obra para recolectar los clavos, pijas y cualquier otro metal para evitar accidentes, y en otra obra levanto hasta las rebabas de los cortes de perfiles y placas, hasta las rebabas que parecen polvo lo levanta, excelente compra.

Paid for itself a 100 times over in punctures.
