I have owned this particular model shoe for over 15 years and I must say that this experience has been very disappointing. Unlike the earlier shoes I have purchased that had innersoles that were stitched and glue down properly this current purchase had an uneven cut of leather that was not even glued down all the way. A very disappointing experience for me from a company that used to take pride in the products they manufactured and sold. ### ⭐ Not what they used to be. I had a pair then and they were my primary shoe traveling through Europe. Dress up go out to eat, next morning go hiking in them. My favorite shoe and style of all time. The pair Amazon just sent me had the sole of the right shoexsticking out past the front of the shoe by 1 cm. Disgusting. I wish Red Wing made more heritage shoe styles. I guess I will just re slope a pair of RW 1907s with the honey vibrant. Very well made and durable. Simply the best pair of shoes out there for knocking around in. Soles are durable. Moderate arch support, but MUCH better than standard boat shoes (which I have NEVER found a pair with any arch in them.... all totally flat). These are shoes that you can wear all year around and in all kinds of weather. These take some time(10 to 20 hours of wearing them) to break in, so plan on that. After break in, you won't even know you have them on. They are *THAT* comfortable.
