They are good for room darkening and installation requires a good power drill, but they don't fold up well when you raise them. You will probably need to adjust and smooth the folds yourself.

Apparently these were cheap for a reason. The overall quality didn't look great, but I expected that going for the cheaper option for a rarely used office room in our house. However, when we took them out of the package we realized they wouldn't roll up/stay up and it seems that they were improperly assembled or missing a piece inside the plastic part where they are meant to roll back up into. My husband was able to manually roll them up, but there is nothing inside the mount that catches and holds them in place. We ordered two shades, neither will roll up. The plastic mount cant be opened up without getting broken so we opted to not try and fix them ourselves. They have a customer service line but they aren't open on weekends and we were hoping to finish the room this week so we have opted to buy better quality shades locally where we can see them before purchasing. We have initiated a return rather than an exchange, which is always a pain without a label printer at home. Others on here wrote that the seller themselves have a very low rating. Not sure why this item had a 4 star rating given some of the negative reviews. The quality of the fabric/ look of them seems fair for the price, but taking a gamble on getting something you wont be able to use and have to go through the trouble of returning makes these not worth the buy in my opinion. Add a few more trips to our to do list this week!

This is the second warehouse deal shade I ordered. The first one fell very short of the quality control for warehouse items. The first came missing pieces, bent and didn’t retract so amazon sent me another warehouse replacement. Second one came with everything and was functional. It’s a great deal for the price since Roman shades can be pricey. Color is exactly as pictured. Fairly simple inside mount install although, as always on these types of things, graphics and instructions could be a little more clear.

I did not like the "plastic" feel that the roman shade had. I guess I expected more of a linen fabric than an oil cloth.

Awful design for the window, the back mesh facing out to the street was a hard no, plus the hardware did not fit the blind. Never order again. The color was nice, fabric not bad.

Really disappointed in the color, NOT ivory. They look a dingy gray. Should have returned them but was desperate for privacy. Good light blocking and holding up to daily raising and lowering 9 months later.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this blind. I am not overly impressed with many products but this blind is the easiest to install, blocks all light, is energy efficient and looks amazing

I should have checked the rating for the seller... I was sent a broken shade packed back into its original box. Seller has 45% 1-star rating for last 90 days. They are charging me to return it and a restocking fee besides.The actual shades, when not broken, still feel a little cheap but are definitely blackout (except for light around the sides that can't be helped.) I bought another pair in gray/taupe and one of them did have obvious spots but they were not on the part of the shade that shows in the room.
