While the title suggests that it is somehow an m16, a m4, and an m82, it is a replica of an M4. This gun has one major downfall: its mag. unlike most mags, which contain a spring holding the bullets to the top and a device for moving bullets from a chamber in the mag to the spring, this M4 has a mag in which you must load the bullets directly to the spring chamber evrey time (the rest is just a hunk of plastic), leving you with about 30 rounds before you must reload. The mag also has an odd shape, which make makes it uncompatible with mags from other guns Either buy an extended mag of some sort or carry around a loaded speed loader or two. The rest of this gun is great! Not only do you save a bundle (using this gun, i can actully compete with a freind of mine who spent his life savings on a gun!), it has a decent fire rate. very accurate with 12gram bbs. range is close, but you can get someone from about 25 yards away. there ois a safty botton on the bottom of the trigger i found annoying, si put a rubber band on it to hold it in position. laser sights broke after day 5 with me. others say its great. Summary, for your pleasure. -30 bullets in a mag -230-270 FPS -fire rate 3 bullets/ sec. -hop up or normal firing. -auto/semi/safe -tactical rail system ATTACHMENTS: ACOG sight: nice. decent scope. laser: mine was really nice until it broke. suppresor: just for looks. extended barrel: improves accuracy tenfold. sights: nice for plastic ones. grip: nice. i may uplaod a video of the gun in action later.

This is not J, this is her son so bear with me okay? The double eagle m4 m16 m83 full auto electric gun is a perfect gun for a beginner or expert depending on what you use it for. It is for sure you will love at first sight. Well first of all it took only 3 days to arrive, I was surprise how much shipping was at the time, 15$. The price was grand, however only costing 25$. Wait for a sale to come up and get it then. The box says the FPS of the rifle is 240, while I clocked it at 300 with 20g. and 320 with 12g. Pretty good huh??? i really think that it would feel like being hit by a sniper point blank from 4yards away from a 450 FPS sniper. That surprised me a lot, it figured out the hard way with my friend, ouch...... The battery life is long and grand, but hard to assess overall. it takes only 2 hours to charge while the maximum charge is 4 hours. so don't charge it over night. The clip capacity is only 45, not the best so using full auto isn't too good to use all the time. the modes of this gun is semi, full auto, and safe. There is a lever/switch thing that you use to change modes. the stock of the rifle is adjustable with a pretty good range so as you grow, you can adjusted the stack and it will still fit like new. i did find a way to take the stock off by unscrewing this little screw and your left with this little knob at the end that's about a inch long. it looks there funny and looks like a full auto shotgun. The grip and fore grip are plastic, but feel relativity comfortable. You need to know on the grip there is a button that you will have to push so it will fire. The accessories that come with it are....okay. The tactical light is bright, but doesn't have a good range. The scope is a red crosshair. I usually prefer the iron sights but the scope is best for accurate night time use. The plastic heatsheilds are great and feel good. More air soft rifles should come with them. There are 2 barrel attachments, the long barrel thing and silencer. the long barrel is made for it to be accurate, but not the best for battles. The silencer works somewhat but I don't use it so I don't decrease accuracy. Overall this gun definitely deserves a 5/5 MINUS THE CONS. DEFINITELY GET THIS GUN!!!!! it will definitely be worth the price. i have had it for 3 months and it has not failed me yet. GET THIS GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This gun is a perfect beginners gun. It is made of kinda sturdy plastic. The reason I used kinda was because when i held it by my stock for 2 seconds, the stock snapped off. (however, that makes it easier to aim down the sight with most masks like mine)It also made it into a much lighter SMG version. Back to the point, this gun is very safe, at around 200 fps. It also looks very nice and has a nice feel for the price. The magazines actually can break easily. When I was loading one, I put too many BBs in the loader. I also applied pressure causing the magazine the break open and it was very hard to fix. The battery is very weak but surprisingly lasts much longer than some other bigger batteries I have. I also did not receive any large amount of BBs. This gun's sight is accurate if you are but not for more than 30-40ft. The sight is horrible but the laser,grip, and heat shields are nice. The flashlight is not very good. If you intend to use one, buy one. One more thing, this gun (with safety gear) is very safe compared to others there are out there. If you are a beginner, this is the budget-gun for you! Pros: Great price very safe great for beginners good quality for price lots of attachments full auto/semi good rof (rate of fire) Cons: stock attachment to body is very breakable flashlight and red dot are bad small fps (feet per second) (if higher wanted)

This is an M4 replica rather than an M16 replica because the name can be misleading. M4 M16 wth?? It's an M4 because of the short barrel and retractable stock. Since it's on sale, it's a great deal for an electric rifle, though the shipping and handling costs are hefty. It comes with a lot of accessories, though they are mostly for fun because the weapon is not very accurate so there is no point in zeroing your sights and lasers. The iron-sights cannot be adjusted, by the. The laser is cool - the way you can wrap the button on to the hand grip. It has a pretty good battery. Warning labels say to not charge for more than 4 hours. A 1 hour charge should last quite a while. One huge flaw is when you screw in the barrel or silencer, it will make the bbs more inaccurate, with occasional shots way off the rest. My guess is the bbs bounce off the barrel. So much for longer barrel = more accurate. If you remove the barrel, the weapon ends up looking like a weird submachinegun, but it's the only way it will fire accurately. I ran into the problem where if you fire on semi-auto for a while, it eventually fails to fire. If this happens, don't panic. Just set it to automatic and fire a few bbs and that should solve the semi-auto problem. The material is not very durable, so be careful when removing the heat shields so you won't damage the plastic with excessive force. Overall, if you just want an affordable electric rifle that looks kind of cool, then get this. It has a very close resemblance to a real M4, but the material may make it look like a toy sometimes. However, if you are looking for a weapon that performs well, then look elsewhere. This weapon is probably only good for short range engagements. It has a 37 round magazine so it's not going to be good for machine-gun style suppression either. It's also not that heavy, probably 4 or 5 pounds.

My son was very excited about this toy, but after 3 days of gentle use, it broke. Pulled the trigger, nothing. The vendor agreed to repair/replace it, but would not provide a return shipping label and the lowest price we could get to send it back (after traipsing around between USPS, Fedex, and UPS) was $41 (2/3 of the original product cost). My son was heartbroken, and we all realized any warranty would be nullified by opening up the gun ourselves, but given the shipping costs we decided to go ahead and try to get some value out of the gun any way we could. My husband opened up the gun and found that a small plastic piece had very quickly lost its shape, and that's why the gun wasn't shooting. He was able to fix it, and we're hopeful that the rest of the gun will last a bit better than that little piece. Although my son is happy with his gun currently, it has been a sobering experience overall and he now understands the phrase "Buyer Beware." The vendor was communicative and made promises to help, but in the end was not able to ensure our satisfaction due to an ineffective return policy. Unless they can guarantee return shipping for a defective product, we do not recommend this purchase or the vendor. I hope they will invest in a return label service so others aren't left in the same position we were. I have communicated this directly with the vendor as well as here.

I am by no means serious about airsoft, I just thought it would be fun to play with. I got this M83-A2 and a Crosman sticky target, and I've just been plinking in my room. So far I am very pleased (knock on wood). It's exactly what I expected and was looking for. It is accurate from across my room, but I haven't had a chance to test it beyond that. I wouldn't expect too much accuracy for a 35 dollar gun. One thing I've found is that the little accessories are kind of useless. The laser pointer is a pain to get set up, and then it kinda takes the fun out of plinking if you do, and I doubt it's accurate enough to hit on the dot every time. The barrels I tend to leave off most of the time because I'm worried they'll just break, but I do like the way they look when they're on. People say the suppressor is stupid because it doesn't really silence anything, but I say, it sure isn't loud like a real gun, so we can just make believe that it's a suppressed gun with the suppressor ;) The strap is irritating because when you hold it just by the strap, it hands upside down. Unless I'm doing it wrong. By the way, would it kill them to set up the strap for you so you don't have to figure it out yourself? It's not that hard, but still. The flashlight is not very bright, so not very helpful. Looks kinda cool though. That's the one thing about the accessories - it's kind of entertaining to dress up the gun in different ways. The goggles are foggy and were a bit scratched out of the box. I highly recommend spending the money (it doesn't actually have to be much) on a pair of goggles that are very clear and 100% UVA + UVB protected if you're going to be outside (trust me you don't want cataracts when you turn 50), and of course comfortable. I've been using Uvex brand goggles I was given at work (bio lab). Finally, I have a couple of things to say about the red-cross sight (red dot sight, they call it). First of all, I want to warn people: the on-off switch is just a slight turn of the larger knob on top. If you crank that knob hard, you'll break the switch mechanism inside like I think I did. It's no fun trying to fix that. When they say battery compartment, they mean the top of that large knob unlocks from the knob itself - just grab the top rim and twist a tiny bit while holding the base of the knob, and it will pop off for access to the battery compartment. Again, crank that knob hard, and you're going to have a broken sight that's not easy to fix, even if you're fairly handy with electronics (which I like to think I am). Also, if you put it on like in the picture, it's not going to do you much good. You can't really see it past the handle. So maybe you take off the handle. Even then, the cross kinda plants itself over the front (middle part) of your ironsights, which is just kind of annoying to me. Mine also has a kind of double reflection that I find irritating, like a second cross that's fainter and a little offset. All in all it's not that useful. On the other hand, the adjustable stock is nice, with six positions. The hop up system seems to do what it claims, although like I said I've only used it at very short range. I read somewhere that you should always shoot these things on semi auto for a while to break them in before full auto, which I did, and the full auto seems to work fine for me. It's stupid to just hold down the trigger for any extended period anyway. It's a waste of pellets, and if you're interested in realism, notice that people who have to use real M4 carbines professionally don't just hold the trigger back and spray, they carefully aim the weapon and shoot short, controlled bursts (3 rounds or so). One last thing: remember not to overcharge the battery. Because it's a NiCad (nickel cadmium), it's an annoyingly delicate system. From what I understand, you charge the gun for 2 hours. This is based on some basic math: 500 mAh battery, 250 mA charger, 500/250 = 2 hours charge time. Now I've heard people suggest up to 4 hours, but I've also heard people say no more than 10 minutes past the calculated time. I also heard that your first charge should be more, but that's not what I did - I just went with 2 hours even. The other thing about NiCad is that they are the batteries that supposedly have "memory." If you haven't heard of this, it's the idea that if you drain the battery for a day, but it's not totally empty, and you charge it so it's full for the next day, and then you repeat this again and again, your battery will start actually dying at that time instead of lasting the expected time. I guess that means you're going to want to drain the battery completely (i.e. until the gun can't shoot another pellet) before charging it (for 2 hours, of course). The verdict: if you want a cheap automatic airsoft gun to play around with, this is not a bad choice. You really can't beat the pricetag. But be careful with it - it's plastic, so don't expect it to fall on a hard surface without breaking. And don't expect it to be a Tokyo Marui, ok?

This was my first LPEG (entry-level version of the AEG) and it has served well. This is a long review and I'm going to pick apart the gun piece by piece. At the end I have some advice for newbies PACKAGING & PRE-PERFORMANCE it was packaged in a Styrofoam box with all the accessories. nothing noteworthy there. If I recall correctly the shipping was on time. ACCESSORIES flashlight - as far as tactical use, the flashlight is a joke. But, it sort of looks cool. Sling - the sling was WAY too short for me, but I'm 6'1" so some of the smaller people may have a better time with it. It may work better as a one-point-sling, though i haven't tried it. Vertical Foregrip - sturdy enough, probably stronger than the barrel itself. Provides nice support for your left hand. I've never really been horizontal foregrip kind of guy, so this is nice for me. Heat Blocks - pretty simple. Like I said before, I'm not much of a horizontal foregrip person so I haven't used them much. My Dad likes them because they give a smooth surface to hold (as opposed to the RIS, which hurts your hand after a while Laser - pretty simple Laser. comes with an RIS/weaver mouth and a pressure switch. To get proper alignment, the Laser has to be on the bottom of the RIS. There is plenty of room for the foregrip behind it, but not the heat block. note that if you zero your laser right, it's going to be much more accurate than the gun. On mine, the wire near the pressure switch broke. I soldered it into a on/off switch and mounted it on a P99 (pistol), where its accuracy is much more appreciated. Only warning is to avoid over-tightening the alignment screws. the laser inside is brass=very easy to drill a hole into. Red Dot Sight - This is a basic red cross sight. You turn it on and a cross appears. you would use it instead of a rear sight. Problem is that the M4 has high sights (because of the carrying handle) and so for a proper sight alignment, you would need a RIS riser. It was a bad design to include a low-profile sight with a gun that has high sights. Speed Loader - self explanatory. Mag Loader - different than the speed loader. It's a long tube that you pour BB's into, plus a rod to push them into the magazine. Jamming Rod - doubles as the rod for the Mag Loader, self explanatory Magazine. I have three that I taped into a "W" shape - triple mag. Holds 40-45 rounds and drops a BB when you take it out of the gun. This isn't a faulty Mag, just a bad design. This is NOT compatible with other M4 mags. Weighted nicely. I haven't had any problems. Battery - 7.2 volts, 500mah. comes with a wall outlet dumb charger. This will get you around 300-400 RPM and last a good while. I've yet to drain it in one day. I killed mine by overcharging it, so the ROF is closer to 200 now. Do yourself a favor and buy a smart charger. Tenergy Universal Smart Charger for NiMH/NiCd Battery Packs (6V - 12V) Perfect for RC or Airsoft Battery Packs --- NEW! < that one is good. Two or three nine volt batteries in a series power this gun just fine but they go dead FAST. PERFORMANCE FPS - 240-250 with .12's it'll dent a soda can but not go through ACCURACY - best as a CQB gun. I fire on torso-sized targets and I can consistently hit it inside 25 feet. farther than that and they knuckleball. Hop-up will get you some extra distance, but many times it doesn't help. Any small breeze will totally throw your shot off. ROF - 300-400 shots/minute with the stock battery fully charged DURABILITY - body is made of ABS (metal-like plastic. some real firearms are made of similar polymers) connecting points and internals are some other cheap plastic. Weak point is between the upper receiver and the RIS/barrel, just in front of the Mag. I could break it easily over my knee, but it's not too bad unless you plan on doing dolphin dives with it. POST-PERFORMANCE SIGHTS - Standard M16 family sights. Hole in the back, fork in the front. technically these would be considered aperture sights. You can take off the rear sight/carrying handle DESIGN - battery is in the RIS, i don't personally like that because you have to take off anything on the side rails when you put the battery in. - Trigger and Mag release work fine. the fire selector switch is rather stiff, but it's nothing to get upset about. - under the trigger release there's a safety button that you have to hold in order to fire. There was an elastic band in the box that goes around it perfectly. it's comfortable and alleviates the need to hold the button with your middle finger - stock is fine, it's adjustable and sturdy. no problems whatsoever. just a quick FPS meter for those new to airsofting <150 FPS - cheapo guns that use .12 gram ammo. it will sting a little on exposed skin but it won't leave any marks 150 - 250 FPS - low end guns that use .12 gram ammo. stings more and can leave small welts on exposed skin at close range 250-300 FPS - many shotguns and spring guns, this is the high end for pistols. still using .12 gram ammo 300-400 FPS - most competition AEG's. this is where you start seeing .2 gram ammo. .12 ammo will leave small welts at close range. .2 ammo will leave small welts through jeans/thick fabrics. .2 ammo will go through soda cans >400 FPS - high end of automatics, high end sniper rifles. This will make you bleed at close range. .2 ammo will go straight through a soda can SUMMARY DE-M83-A2 is all right for a beginner gun. its cost is easy to swallow at 30-40$. If you shoot someone, they will know they're hit, but it's not going to hurt anyone except point black on exposed skin. Its not accurate and you're not going to find any spare parts or upgrades anywhere. The accesories are nice, but the actual gun's performance is dwarfed by guns that only cost 45 dollars more. if you are young and want something cheap to plink in the backyard with, this is great. If I had it to do over again, I'd get the Jing Gong G36c. it's around 100$ and it's ten times the gun this is. I you want to get into the sport, it's full metal so it's not going to wear out like plastic will. Plus it's fully upgradable and serviceable. If you decide it's not the thing for you, it's an accurate replica and it'll be ready for a war when you are.

This gun is awesome. I just got it today and I was so excited. I am only a begginer at airsoft but i can tell this gun rocks. it goes through paper the clips are sturdy, i dropped one on cement and its fine. The silencer is just for looks doesn't do anything and the laser dot scope doesn't zoom. Pretty good rate of fire takes a while for the clip to run out, and to load on you put bbs in a pipe(included) and put it over the mag, then push a pipe through it. it is weighted but not to heavy. the sling is really short and i didn't know how to assemble it. you can see the bbs flying and you can see the difference between the hop up and normal. the 8000 bbs come in 4 bottles of 2000 and are black, they're preety solid but the bottle says "targer" and it says if you use any bbs from another campany the gun will have trouble, i don't know if that is true or not. the battery is in the RIS system. the safe switch is kind of hard to move at first so give it a jerk. the safety goggles are good quiality, and big and don't make it blurry. you have to push a saftey button to shoot and you heve to hold it down but thats ok its easy to push. I dont use the electronic scope because it doesnt look cool and i can use the sights. the accurcay is pretty good won't be sniping anyone I hope you find this review helpful and please excuse my grammer or spelling mistakes.
