It moves a great amount of air. The only issue is one that most people seem to have - slow start-up time. It seems is an issue with DC motors. they take a moment to start up - about 15 seconds. Disconcerting for someone who wants to know that the fan is really on. Once its up to speed, it is quiet and moves a tremendous amount of air

I finally installed the fans I bought in 2020 but it is the same model. We wasted an hour or so redoing everything during install because the fan wouldn't come on but then we left the switch in the on position by accident while doing something else and it finally came on. With the cover off it seems to go through a couple of failed attempts to start where it slowly spins up and then stalls and stops to try to start again until it finally starts. Once started it seems to move a fair amount of air at low noise levels. I am not confident that it will last a long time based on how tenuous it is to get started when new. The lower speed settings seem to be worse so we left it on the higher setting only.

Works great and is super quiet.

Buyer beware: Aero Pure states on the instructions that this product must be installed by a licensed professional otherwise the warranty is void...Pro's:Fit great in a 2x8 wood joist ceiling @ 12" OC.Sort of quiet at 110 cfm (more on that later)Air flow is goodEasy to install (about 30 - 60 min for average folk)Cons:ONLY runs at 110 CFM (assuming). It doesn't matter which setting I put it on, it runs at the same speed.Very slow to start up... flip the switch, wait 5-10 seconds, then it turns on. Initially, it just took a long time for it start running. I wrote to the company and they assured me it was normal. Shortly after that, we noticed that once it was started and turned off, you had to wait several hours before it would turn on again. I called the company again and they told me it was probably a defective switch. I replaced the switch twice and that didn't help. Then they told me it was the wiring, but it was installed by a licensed electrician and wired directly to the circuit panel. There's only 3 wires so you'd have to be blind to screw it up. Finally it quit altogether. That's when I started having trouble getting an answer from the company and my emails were not being answered. They did eventually sent me another one but it did the same thing. I asked for a refund and they referred me back to Amazon and all communication ended. Finally I tried something I hadn't tried before; I turned the CFM switch all the way to highest setting. It will now start and run without any problem. However, the reason I bought this was because I wanted a lower CFM setting. I have since noticed that no matter what setting the switch is on, it still runs at the same speed. If you decide to buy this, make sure you have it installed by a licensed electrician because the warranty is void if you don't, and remember that it will only run on the highest setting.

I install it by following all the instructions and when I turn it on I turn it smoothly and turn off, we tried several times and the same thing, then it was that I read the riviews and apparently they all had the same problem. I threw them back in a flash.

After installing and hooking it up, the fan would not run. It would start a little bit then stop. Customer support told me that there may be too many restrictions in the vented line but after disconnecting all of the duct work, it still didn't work. Very disappointed

AeroPure confirmed these fans have a manufacturing defect. The 50 and 80 CFM settings do not work. Only the 110 CFM setting works, which is quite loud.Do not buy this fan if you want a quiet fan.The light is not very bright and the color of the light is quite yellow.Aside from the initial confirmation that these fans have a known manufacturing defect, AeroPure has not responded to four written requests for customer service.
