This is a great hat for dog walking in the rain. You need to be able to see what is around and if you turn your head when wearing a hood you see the inside of the hood, so a hat is a must!This hat pulls down nicely on your head and the brim protects you from drips.Sizing was a worry as I had no idea, but deciding to go for a medium, I found that the choice was between small and large, so I plumped for the small. When it arrived it was xs/s and is very slightly loose, but not enough to bother.

Perfect hat for dog walking in the rain, good fit does not blow off in the wind like others I've had in the past. Torrential rain yesterday - head as dry as a bone :)

Purchased to go with a new waxed jacket but I wasn't prepared to pay for the 'real thing'. This is a nice hat, comfy to wear and appears true to size. I like the ruched effect. Have had compliments when wearing it. Good colour - dark navy.

I was a little concerned as when measuring my head I was between sizes ( S to M)but opted for Small as that was the closest. Arrived promptly and popped it on. Performed the “Drop test”. (Hat on bend over to see if hat drops off). Fits perfectly. Great for walking the dog or going out

I was unsure about buying this hat - hats tend to either look great or, more often, ridiculous. I am so glad I took the risk, as it looks great - a bit Victorian, and feminine without being too ‘cute’. More importantly, it does its job and keeps me dry...I have worn it several times in the rain, although not yet in a heavy stormy downpour. It can cope with a brisk breeze, but I couldn’t wear it in the recent storm-force winds, as it would definitely blow away - however I wouldn’t like it so much if it had those weird under-chin ties, so no complaints! There is a lot in the reviews re the size... I just measured around my head where the hat would sit, and ordered that size - it was perfect. Love it!

Needed a waterproof hat for dog walking. This is ideal, keeps on in a high wind and is warm. Navy is darker than expected - almost black but otherwise good hat.

I really like the hat, the wax coating is no doubt really good in the rain, and doesn't look half bad, I'm very happy about the style and quality.However, the sizing is a little disappointing. My head is 61cm (yeah I know....... huge), and I was thrilled to see a "2XL- 61cm" option!What I actually received is labelled as "60/61cm (XL/2XL)" and as such, it is too small by that tiny bit. I can squeeze into it, but it is very snug. A proper 2XL would have been perfect. I don't like the misleading/inaccurate sizing.
