Finally a stand that lets you focus on playing instead of trying to keep your keyboard still!
I have been playing piano and keyboards for more than 33 years. In that time I have owned many different keyboard stands. While the column stands have improved, they're still a little heavy for transport to and from a gig. The X style stands, though slightly easier for transport, still have a tendency to wobble a bit and can be a little springy. As soon as I unpacked this stand, I was immediately gratified that it required no assembly. Simply unfold, adjust the width and height, then setup your keyboard. Simplicity can be quite rewarding. I placed a Yamaha MOX6 on it, and was immediately impressed. It didn't budge, and increased the satisfaction of playing immensely. It's challenging enough to perform well, let alone do that with stands that keep moving around is frustrating. But this is an excellent stand, and much more affordable than many others that I've owned. I definitely would like to purchase more of them and hope that they continue making them. I highly recommend it, and thanks to Amazon for the quick delivery!

An excellent product
Very happy with this product. I ordered it Monday, it shipped FedEx on Tuesday and was delivered on Friday. This is with free shipping, Texas to California. It's quite heavy, so the free shipping is nice. The stand itself is very sturdy. It's pre-assembled and it was up and adjusted in five minutes. My old JV-90 fit perfectly. It comes with adhesive-backed rubber pads so the keyboard won't slip around, and for extra security the width adjusts over a broad range so that the keyboard's rubber feet can drop through holes in the stand's top platform. Very stable--nobody will tip this over by accident. An excellent product and an excellent value. A last note: It looks sturdier in person than in the picture. I was nervous that it might be a bit spindly. It isn't.

Very solid and functional, according to size of keyboard.
The On Stage KS7150 Table Top Keyboard Stand was just what I was looking for. It is very stable and when it is not being used, it can fold up compactly. My Yamaha keyboard does not slide around on this table because the keyboard has some rubber pads underneath that "grab" the metal top and create sufficient friction. It is a heavy table because it is made to hold up to 350 pounds. My keyboard is not nearly that heavy, but I prefer this table anyway. If I get a bigger, heavier keyboard, I won't need to upgrade my table. And as I mentioned before, this table folds up very compactly. and stows away out of sight. Someone in another review commented about the table giving under the keyboard, but I don't see how the table I received could fit that description. Revised comments: A smaller keyboard does not slide around on this table because the rubber pads on the bottom of the keyboard create friction on the top of keyboard stand. However, I just started using a larger keyboard, and found that the keyboard did slide on the stand because its rubber pads were too widely spaced for the table top. I used the friction pads sent with the keyboard stand, peeling off the protective layer and sticking them to the top of the stand. Then the keyboard was reasonably steady in place. The stand can sway slightly now, extended to full width.

a stand for all seasons
what a sturdy, portable, multi-platform table! the table length and height are adjustable and it is sturdy without weighing a ton to be useful for any musical devices, like heavy keyboards, and is wide enough, in my case, for both a steel guitar and a lap steel guitar sitting side by side. the legs are wide enough apart to admit floor board units, like the Line 6 X3, etc, to fit between them, and the metal table top is plenty strong and doesn't flex under load. it comes with two strips of thin stick on pads, but i chose to cover the metal tops with double sticky taped rubber bottomed carpet mat. the tape adheres securely to the metal top with no fear of the carpet falling off during transport. On Stage also sells a secondary keyboard riser that fits into mounts on the table, should a second layer be desired. i would like to also point out that this table could be used on stage with any musical gear, like mixer boards, drum machines, any outboard gear, if they are affixed to a board of some kind or one is set upon it. there are holes and slots in the table top should any attachments be required to securely hold such boards carrying the equipment. i am thoroughly pleased with this table and would not hesitate to buy another as needs arise.

Very solid, customizable stand
This seems very well made and sturdy - even extended to its full length. I won't actually try it, but it feels strong enough to hold me if I laid down on it (I'm 195lbs). It fits my midi keyboard and midi pad perfectly and its a lot more customizable than I originally thought (I just bought the microphone attachment and laptop mount add-ons). The full height is perfect for me as well (I'm 6'3) and there's plenty of room for my pedal board below. These are two things I haven't found in other reasonably priced stands. I usually wait a while to use something before reviewing it, but I feel rather confident this will hold up over years of use. There were some minor scratches on the stand upon opening it, but not enough to bother me.

Perfect match for our keyboard
I had been kicking myself for about 2 years, because I purchased an electronic keyboard with intentions of our son taking lessons in the future (he was only 2-years-old when we bought the keyboard). I bought this stand hoping that 1. It would be sturdy enough to hold a full, 88-key, Casio Previa 100 easily and 2. Would be able to hold up to a 5-year-old, who has the tendency to kind of lean on tables and put his weight down on everything. As soon as I opened the box, I was pleased. The stand "looked" sturdy and well made, but proved to require no assembly, just unfold, adjust the width and voila! My one concern came to a screeching halt as soon as I put the keyboard stand in place. My one reservation was that if the angle of the legs were 45 degrees, that it might topple over easily. Keep in mind, I've got a 5-year-old running about and things get banged into. He is my live-in durability tester. However, all of my fears were put to rest in a matter of moments. I put the keyboard on the stand and noticed that the legs jet out at the sides just a bit, so there's no concern of the stand being knocked over to the side. I do have to say that my stand is always stationary and is against a wall. I cannot really say how it would fair in another environment, but for our specific uses, it's absolutely perfect.

"Solid" is a relative term
I got this stand because I liked the idea of having something portable with nice leg room. However, it wasn't as stable as I hoped. I'm using it with an 88-key Yamaha P-120 keyboard, and I had to extend the length of the stand all the way in order to rest the keyboard on its rubber feet (without putting just the flat bottom of the keyboard on the stand). For some reason, they put large holes on the table top, and these made it more difficult for me to rest the keyboard on its rubber feet. I had to position it just right. At full length, the middle of the stand sags a bit kind of like a curtain rod at full length without any center support. As I played the keyboard, it was "stable" but not $50 stable. It wasn't very difficult for me to wobble it side to side. For me, it felt kind of rickety. The overall construction just doesn't give me full confidence that my expensive keyboard is resting on something reliable. It does the job, but I would feel better if I paid half the price. This stand is probably more appropriate for smaller keyboards or sound boards. I do not recommend it for full-size keyboards that are moderately heavy.

I bought this stand because it has a stand bag that you can buy optional. I have not received the bag yet. But the stand is pure garbage. There is multiple problems in the design and locking system. First of all the locking screws are plastic and keep loosening. I had the legs fall off multiple times while checking the sturdiness. Also the stand width adjustment rail is very sloppy It has a round rail that slides into a square rail. So you can imagine how sloppy it is and causes plastic locking screws to come loose. The worst part is that THERE IS NO LOCKING SYSTEM ON THE LEGS THAT FOLD UNDER. One small bump from the side or a little wobble from side to side while playing will cause the legs to fold up under it causing your keyboard to hit the floor. I do not trust this stand with my $1700 Korg Krome 88. I am not someone who likes to return stuff and I am really want to use this stand because of the bag. All of my equipment have Bags,Cases and Crates. I am a serious person about protecting my investment. Half of investment is in cases to safely transport all my gear. I am going to try to modify this stand to better locking system and reinforcement. But at the end if I'm not happy with it. I am just going to throw it out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STAND TO NOBODY!

Great value, 4-legged support for long, deep, and heavy digital piano slabs.
Great value, 4-legged support for long, deep, and heavy digital piano slabs. Stands evenly, and lots of leg room underneath. Just wish it was 2 inches longer in length to fit the circular feet pads of my Kawai ES8 into the pre-slotted holes on the stand for better support. Had to shorten the length to 42" (distance between feet pads) and rely on the rubber sticker strips instead. One positive from this setup is the entire length of the stand matches the length of the digital piano (since the feet point outward).

Sturdy, Heavy, Tall
#1 Is sits high on the lowest setting so you probably need a seat that is not too low. #2 Sturdy #3 Fits a range of keyboards sizes and works well with my smallest, a 49-key Yamaha MX49 #4 Quite heavy, made of steel, this is not something I want to lug around on public transit. Car OK #5 More room for one's legs and feet than an X-stand. #6 I am still looking for something similar but made from lighter materials. I would like to have a stand that is a better match in weight with my 7 pound keyboard for ultra portability.

Great stand, sturdy and nice to play while sitting
Great stand, sturdy and nice to play while sitting. Best use is at home/studio by leaving it in the same position and you can fold the legs to store it somewhere else. For gigs, x stands are more practical and fast to set up.

Minimal, looking good, wide enough
Great stand. I tried various type and I liked this the best. Mainly because it doesn’t take too much space and looks minimal as opposed to Z and X stands.
