I previously bought a foam container with open compartments, Thought this new one might work as well. I was wrong. It is just too much trouble to take out all the little pieces to make compartments. Unless you happen to have a variety of odd shaped items to put in this container, stick to the pre-opened slots.

Good quality foam, perforations are helpful for keeping lines straight, but I think next time I would just buy cushion foam and trim it with an exacto knife to save money.

This is a really good foam for storing items of irregular sizes. I do recommend getting the foam with the bottom and gluing it on so that your items do not fall out. I am using this for my Drop Spindle collection.
