This works very handy, excellent little tool.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this set of two; one for my gardening and one for when we go metal detecting.After assembly, it easily stay in place. The digging motion is what keeps it locked solid. To disassemble, simply tap both sides on something hard like a rock and it comes apart.These are very lightweight and easy to use. I love how we can fit one in a backpack when we go metal detecting.Excellent heavy duty product! (see my video)

The product is smaller than you think but it is a good weight and not too tiring to swing it over and over again.It's isn't super sharp out of the box but the weight does a good job to help it make short work of thick clay soils and even small to medium (dead) rootballs from shrubs etc.It feels pretty indestructible and I like the fact that you can easily break it down and pack it in a backpack or just take up less space in the shed.The plastic handle is pretty "grippy" so once you slide the head on and give it a whack it tends to stay there in use. It takes another whack to dislodge it again.

I use this thing for everything!Light weight, easy to swing and goes into even hardpack with ease.Once the head is firmly placed (hit the top of the handle on the ground a few times) it is rock solid.

This is the perfect gardening tool. The weight of the blade makes it easy to dig deep into the driest, ickiest soil. Then you can pry a big clod out of the ground like using the leverage of a hammer to pull out a nail. It prevents the joint stress you get when tugging things out of the ground.I have two full-sized pick mattocks, which I use a lot. But when I noticed how often I used them while crouching down at ground level, I realized I needed to do something because the big mattocks were killing my back. Not to mention how awkward they were to to maneuver. This little mattock is the perfect size.

Just right for what we needed and easy to put together

I like everything about this pick except for the diameter of the grip. It is well constructed. The size and length are good. But the grip is too thin. My hands cramp quickly whenever I use this pick. The handle or at least the grip needs a much bigger diameter. I have never used or seen a tool with such a thin grip. It might work for someone with really small hands, but I regret this purchase.

Very pleased with this tool. My girlfriend and I do a lot of petrified wood hunting and this is perfect for digging up treasures. Purchased a second one so we don’t have to share. Very sturdy and I can’t envision any way to ever break this tool.

Buena herramienta, ligera por el mango y de buen tamaño.Me dedico a buscar/rescatar objetos antiguos con el detector de metales y la actividad de caminar, mover el brazo para detectar, escarbar, recuperar y volver a tapar el hueco cansa al hacerlo decenas de veces, igual es cansado por lo que llevo en la mochila, por lo que una herramienta así ligera por el mango pero fuerte para escarbar es de gran ayuda, aparte se puede armar y desarmar.Recién la he usado y me ha gustado lo fácil que es escarbar y no cansa como mi anterior piqueta/martelina que era toda de metal.Lo único malo es que no viene bien templada, porque al hacer palanca sobre alguna piedra de 1kg incrustada en la tierra ya se doblo la punta.Por el precio en que la compre de promoción y la ligereza vale la pena, ahora ya ha subido de precio.

Good quality, it works for my gold digging.Not to heavy and I can use it longer.

Very comfortable to handle it, very solid! Good tool for garden work!

This is a miner's axe, not a pickaxe. Because of its small size it is not useful for general use. The price is not right neither. I can buy a full size pickaxe for about $30 at local hardware store.
