The Lion King Soundtrack

This soundtrack swept me away. The instrumental tracks were particularly beautiful. My favorite instrumental track was To Die For, which truly evokes the stampede and the horror of Mufasa's death. The soundtrack brings back memories of the movie, which I thought was mesmerizing and unforgettable.My favorite vocal tracks were:1. Circle of Life. I loved the singer's rich voice and the choir.2. Be Prepared. More of a monologue than the original version, this song does well at portraying Scar's deception. I love how he begins speaking softly, but by the end, the song has risen to a maniacally chilling crescendo. Scar is more subtle and frightening in this version. The actor is phenomenal!3. Hacuna Matata. Some wonderful new humor in this one.4. Spirit. Beyond inspiring and truly evokes the themes in the film.5. It's Never Too Late. I can't stop listening to this one! Such profound lyrics and a catchy tune that makes me smile. Like Spirit, this song explores the movie's themes, particularly the theme of learning from your mistakes and continuing to persevere even when life is painful.Please give this beautiful soundtrack a chance. As I eagerly await the release of the movie, I can enjoy the beautiful songs. Thoroughly recommended.God bless you all.

How could you not love this soundtrack?Disc in great shape and I got goosebumps listening once again to the wonderful music.Nothing more needs be said.

We love listening to Disney soundtracks as we drive through eight states to get to Disney World, and all we had were tapes. This one is great!

The songs are the most fun and love to sing along. Some kind of long unknown music but great to listen to.

Donald Glover! Beyonce! Sir William Eichner! The only reason this soundtrack isn't five stars is that the new version of Be Prepared is kinda limp and weird.

I love the new lion king and the music was terrific. Would definitely buy it again!

As a mega fan of the original "The Lion King" and its sequels, this 2019 version was actually decent, including the soundtrack. Billy Eichner is going to surprise you with his stunning voice. Such a great Timon along with Seth Rogen as Pumbaa. Both have been getting praises for being scene stealers, and I agree completely. You're going to adore Billy's singing on the album.
