The sanding drums are fine and the case is nice too
Hmmm... Review form says "PitBull Kitchen knife". We haven't bought any kitchen knives for several years. None under a "PitBull" brand. The pic shows a drum sander set with fitted box. THAT item I did buy! The sanding drums are fine and the case is nice too. The abrasive sleeves are not real good quality, but that is what I expected of them and I'm not finding better sleeves on the internet yet.

Time will tell
Ok first and formost this is a product from a certain tool store that gets it's freight from a harbor. It is a discontinued product. How do I know? Well the reseller did a poor job of tearing off the stickers from the case. That being said, this is a pretty good set and the prioce is fair. There are no instructions included but it is a pretty easy operation to slide a sandpaper sleeve on the rubber drum and tighten (reverse threads!!!)down a nut. I don't need to sand curves very often but this will come in handy when I do. There are no markings on the sleeves so your gonna have to guess as to the grit (the rougher one is the 80 grit lol). The storage case it handy.UPDATE: Well I had the chance to use a few more of the sizes. Color me impressed! These work very well in my 2 speed cordless drill (on high speed). I had to sand some curves on a cradel I build for my granddaughter's dolls and this worked very well (plywood). I also had to sand some curves on some PT wood and again this did the trick. I then needed to build an electric motor mounting bracket for my apple crusher (for pressing cider). Here the set really shined as the curves had to be perfect to hold the motor in and exact position. Again this worked very well and made my job so much easier. The sanding drums are holding up well and the arbors are gripping tight (thanks again to those reverse threads they don't lossen while in use!). I have also used these to bore out a cast aluminium v pulley. Here they weren't as good (I did not expect them to be) as in typical fashion when trying the grind alum. the metal clogged the drums pretty quickly. A couple quick swipes with a wire brush and the drums were clean again. My next project is to build a flush mount table top for my drill press so I can use these more frequently. Yea they are good! Oh moved my rating to 5 stars. they earned it.

Doesn't say what grit each of sleeves is
There is no indication on the sanding drums as to what the grit is. It might be printed on the inside of them occasionally, but the rings are too small to get the text there every time. I bumped the case and all the sandpaper sleeves fell out and now I don't know exactly what grit they are and I'm not really positive if I've got them matched back up right.

I didn't have any issues with slippage of the sandpaper and it feels like the tool will last through many uses
I have used this kit a few times on my drill press to sand the sides of boards after making cuts on a bandsaw and it has worked well. It doesn't feel high end but it is functional for what it is intended for. I didn't have any issues with slippage of the sandpaper and it feels like the tool will last through many uses.

Good
These were a pretty good value. Easy to install and use on my drill press. Thought the sandpaper wore out a little too soon.

Sanding Drum Kit
You get what you pay for. I ordered this set for a specific purpose. The first time I used it (the large drum) the shaft bent and and the resulting vibration caused me to drop my grinder! A real bummer.

Works good in drill press.
Worked better in my drill press than in my handheld drill. In the handheld drill, the screw would in-screw, in the drill press it did not. It gets the job done, I'm happy with it. It's affordable, I like that it comes with a case and the different size spindles. I was able to get it to work in the handheld drill, I just had to be aware of which direction I was sanding to try to prevent it from unscrewing.

Soft threads, poor tool
The threaded that tighten the sanding belt on the rubber wheel are very soft metal. The threaded stipped during the first hour that I used it. Find something better.
