You get what you pay for
I had some old metal scissors my dad kept in the family that date back to my childhood some 45 years ago. They were finally rusing and needed to be replaced. I bought some inexpensive sissors at my local Ralph's supermarket, only to find those $6 pair of sissors could barely cut a piece of paper. Finally, I got too fed up with those cheap sissors and looked around on Amazon. I found these stainless steel beauties and boy can they cut! I'm glad I bought two at the same time. One is in the kitchen and the other is in the middle bedroom of my home where I keep my home office. I doubt I'll live so long, but I'll wager these sissors will last 40 years on their own, like the ones my dad bequethed me before he passed from cancer 18 years ago.Well, you know the old saying; "You get what you pay for" Pay a little and you more than likely will get a little. Pay a decent price and you'll usually get good quality that will last. These will last. They are forged stainless steel and are very sharp as well as well made to fit the hand and do their job.

5 years later and going strong
So, after a parade of reasonably priced scissors I finally decided to get a good pair. After a little shopping around in Amazon I selected these. That's the great thing about Amazon, giving you access to Quality things you might not normally be able to find. I like them a lot right away. I'm now back almost 5 years later to tell you they're still going strong, and one of the best pair of scissors I've ever owned. You don't realize how much messing around you're doing with an inferior product until you have something really good. We use them for general purpose in the kitchen, on paper, wrapping paper whatever. They're great. I'd highly recommend these scissors.

The BEST scissors I've ever owned!
I wanted a good pair of classic steel scissors. The ones with plastic handles don't last, and I wanted a good heavy pair to use in my home office. I bought these a year ago and they are fantastic! They are sharp, operate smoothly, and make quick work of everything I've thrown at them. I can tell these are going to last a long long time! They are made in Italy and so are not cheap Chinese crap that you get every place else. Get these scissors!! You will be very pleased with them, as I am!

Good sturdy pair of shears
I’ve been asking my wife for a while to buy me shears instead of scissors. I’m a man with big hands- nothing gets me more frustrated quicker than scissors that don’t cut, plastic that bows under tension, and fingers getting stuck (except Tupperware lids that don’t match... why aren’t these universal lids?) So I looked these up and they’re good! Good metal, good cutting the length of the blade, and cuts cardboard easily. I still only use 2 fingers and a thumb to cut, but I can use middle and ring finger and the scissors are balanced and comfortable.Long review for scissors, but help out the men your lives and buy them a quality tool.

Great office scissors; minor flaws in the finish.
Arrived new with minor flaws in the nickel plating and a few small scratches. The scratches will happen after a few months getting knocked around in the desk drawer anyway, but I didn't expect them on a brand new product. Cutting edges are sharp and the scissors cut clean and straight - that's what matters most. Now I need a 'made in Italy' stapler to go along with it!

Bargain price for a family heirloom
One of the amazing things Amazon has done is to give us all access to the kind of quality-made, built-to-last everyday tools that you used to be able to find in your local corner store. I'm too young to have grown up in that time, of course, but you can see its remnants all around us like artifacts of a lost civilization. These scissors are the kind of tools you will hand down to your children's children. Simple and made to last. They come very sharp from the factory and are easy to disassemble via the central pivot screw when it's time to resharpen them. (Lots of Youtube videos on how to do this.) The slightly asymmetric shape feels very secure in the hand, and the shiny finish and weighty heft make this a very satisfying tool to use. Who knows how much longer anyone will make tools like this?

Poor craftsmanship
2nd time buying, first pair purchased in 2020- but the on the pair I received this year is bad, night and day on the finish and packaging. I Requested a replacement, they sent me a USPS label and I mailed them back. Today I received an email stating the replacement had been canceled.

Bought years ago... absolutely satisfied!!
I just pulled these out today to use and admired again this fine pair of scissors. I couple years ago I began to question the status quo regarding the products that are available to me, the consumer. I now look high and low for products worth my dollars, as I think many of us do. This pair of scissors perform fantastically! They are made in Italy, and have very good craftsmanship as far as I can tell. The disposable mentality of use and dispose then buy more bothers me, I want something to last; I am very happy with this purchase.
