Great Product for a low price!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is my second purchase of one of these dash cams for my second car. I think the product is great and well worth the money. It comes with everything ready to go except for the microSD card and installation is pretty much straight forward. The dash cam goes right on top of your existing rear view mirror and the time consuming portion is really hiding the cables along the edge of your car. You could pay someone to install it, but for the average person, you can run the cables yourself - it just takes time. It took me about 2 hours on my last car mainly due to the rear camera and running the cables back there, installation and running of the cables just for the front should take you only 15 minutes or so.For this car, I'm mainly using it for the front camera. I need it to always record while driving in case of any incidents and accidents. The ones that go right on top of existing mirrors are better as they don't require more real estate on your dash that may hinder your view.Pros:Cheap and affordable technology that every car should haveFor the price, quality is surprisingly goodEasy install (youtube is your friend if you need to run cables to the rear of the car)Cons:5 inch display is not large (but it's distracting while it's on and you're driving, so you really don't need too large a display - but viewing the videos from your dash cam is smaller of course)rear view camera a little bulky - could be smaller to make it less noticeable

For the price, it's amazing!
I like how it just goes over your regular mirror (this is actually bigger than my regular mirror) so you're not cluttering up your window or dash, has both a front and rear camera, and can record. The front camera is very high quality, the rear camera is okay.If you want to install this where the wires are hidden and the rear cam comes on when you reverse it does take a little bit of "handyman" or woman skill. You need to tether into your brake light which takes some low level wiring skill (on par w/ changing a light switch in your house). Once tethered it's amazing the rear cam comes in when you hit reverse. For the rear cam wires, you pop off the fabric in your trunk and run it into the inside of car, then under the side trim around the floor, then up front door weather strip and/or trim, then tuck under the ceiling upholstery to run to your device. They also showed the option of running from the front to the back under the ceiling upholstery but I couldn't do this on my car or couldn't figure out/didn't' want to mess with. Also, I had to buy a cord extension as the cord wasn't long enough. For the power cord, tuck under ceiling upholstery, then the front top of the front door weather strip/trim, then under the glove box to your charger. Not super difficult but you definitely have to pop some pieces off the car (there's videos online if you google install dash cam). Also, the rear cam basically needs screwed to your car (I have the camera plate tucked between my license plate and the car but it moves a bit). The rear cam that is the top frame of your license plate where you use your plate screws to fasten would be better. I thought this would be more minimalist but the camera isn't tiny (a 1x1", give or take, box) on the top center of your plate. My rear cam stopped working after a couple weeks but they sent a replacement quickly and I believe this has some type of warranty longer than Amazon's 30 day window. The replacement is still working perfectly a few months later so that could have been a fluke. It's not perfect but definitely a great product for the price and I really like it.

Great looks
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Let me start by saying this backup camera was very easy to install. I installed it within 30 minutes include running the cable and hide the cables in my car. You can see it from the video, the quality is amazed me, especially the front camera. It is as clear as my samsung phone. The reverse/backup camera isn't bad but it could be better. It has many features which i did not have the time to go through. You can go through it on your own but i find it hard to control the date and time. They might need to update the UI a little bit to make it easier to setup. One more thing, i have difficult time adjusting the backup camera to aligned properly. Please make it adjustable. That will save people lots of time to go back and forth adjusting the camera. Same goes with the front camera maybe?

If you want to have it as a backup camera, DO NOT BUY
pros: pretty prompt CS responsescons:1. if you just want to have a dash cam, it's not bad, but if you want a back up camera, DO NOT BUY. here's why;- Randomly working especially in hot temperature and/or under bright sun. almost not working- latency is just crazy therefore even when it works, it's almost useless- video quality is just terrible2. heavy - it is supposed to hang with the original mirror but since it's too heavy, it always drops down. have to re-adjust the angle all the time.3. terrible interface with touch sound4. mirror itself is too dark - be ware. if you drive with sunglasses and or your back window is tinted, since this mirror itself is dark tinted for the screen, too dark to see back5. the wire is too short for hatchback cars. i had to extra works to extend it to trunk.6. the backup camera angle has limit to adjust

Great value dash cam and reversing camera
I mainly bought this as a reversing camera for my daughter's older car. The dash cam is a bonus and great quality video. Very easy to install for the average DIY person.
