Claber8423 Aquauno Select 2-Dial Water Timer,Orange

I searched for a long time for a hose timer that is not made in China. This unit is made in Italy, is good-looking and high quality, and functions beautifully. I've had it hooked up for about a month and a half, set to add 15 minutes worth of water to my pond every 24 hours.Set-up is so easy your 5-year-old could do it, and it works flawlessly. I don't even remember I have it until I note each day that the pond has once again been brought up to the appropriate level.Perfect for times that I am away from home. No need to ask a neighbor to turn on the hose, let it run for x amount of time, then go back and turn it off, and then worry that they forgot to turn it on and/or off.It's been one of my best outdoor investments.

I have many of these for a large property. Well made, simple, reliable, sturdy, battery lasts all season or more. Small enough to fit several side by side on a distributor. Able to customize your watering due to the 2 dials. ONLY downsides are no battery life indicator and no delayed start......eg if you want watering to begin at 2am you actually have to go set it at 2am. But no other battery operated timer is as reliable.

This is a nice combination of battery operated and good old fashioned dial operation. Have used this unit for about a month so far. Timer settings (hour sequence etc) work accurately.Solid. No requirement that it be fully vertical. However, in the limited use so far, I've found that there is some leakage around the connectors even though I think I've got them securely attached. Not a deal breaker but I'd just as soon not waste water.

I replaced Orbit water timers installed by my landscaper with these. As noted, there is no clock but I much prefer these to more complicated units. For one, the Orbit units failed to cut off, leaving water running for hours while I was out of town. The Claber units have worked flawlessly. They are east to test and easy to set. I will continue buying these until I have replaced all of the Orbit units (one more).

This timer is awesome. I have purchased and return a few water timers. None of them worked. they leaked didn't turn on and off correctly. poor quality. This timer is simple and works flawlessly.

Installed it late last summer. Worked fine for a few months. This spring, I put battery back in and the thing leaks internally like crazy. Very disappointing...

I've been using DIG Model 9001DB timers for a long time. When one was accidently broken, I bought a Calper to replace it because a friend, who is a professional landscaper, uses them and I like the sturdy black-and-orange Italian design. It is sturdy and attractive but lacks many of the features of the DIG timers and is more expensive. For example, you cannot set the start time. The start time is the time you first it up and that is a problem if you want it to start in the middle of the night. Also you cannot set multiple start times.

Very nice sprinkler timer easy to set up there's no visible clocks or anything to go bad in the Sun.I have tried about every time timer they make throughout the years and this one seems like it's about the best I've ever tried I would definitely buy another one

As I said in the headline these are really easy to use and pretty hard to ruin. That being said these are pricey for your money.
