Interlux YPA985N/16 Primocon Aerosol Primer - 16 oz.

It did the job well. We will see how it holds up

Not impressed this time. I spent two days prepping my trim tabs. clean, degreased, primed, and painted. I just noticed the primer is letting go after only a handful of trips this season. bare metal is on both tabs. Not sure if I used this exact product several years ago, but it was still on when I cleaned the tabs.

Works as advertised.

The containers label indicates that the product is 12 ounces; however, there is a sticker with a barcode on the can saying 16 ounces (see photos). Otherwise the primer works well and dries quickly.

this product does the job as described , perfect

I applied this to the outboard on my sailboat because it is mounted in a well in cockpit, and so it stays submerged all the time. After about two weeks it was covered on slime. A few weeks later it looked the same as when I had pulled it in the first place -- covered in barnacles and with a full beard. You're better off just knowing you'll be cleaning your hull and outboard every few weeks and skipping this expensive boondoggle.

If anything this accelerates the growth !
