Amazing Product and Great Gift!
Absolutely loved it! The box itself is very pretty as well as the presentation of the snacks (which is great as I bought this as a gift) and it contained a very wide variety of treats. Although I wouldn't buy this on a regular basis as it is a little pricey, it is definatley worth a try or to buy as a gift. I really like that it had a little pamphlet to guide you through what the candies are. Would highly recommend it! ^^

Not bad but overpriced
since this is from japan id imagine a 40 pound price tag for 50 relatively small seperate sweets is way too much like there not huge. its not something i regret buying but i just think for 40 pounds they could add a lot more for that price but again if youre buying it to test japan foods its a nice purchase. just dont expect it to be something you can buy in your own shops locally for the same price. a lot of stuff is pretty small but i imagine people again are buying this to test the foods not have an entire snack room to snack on for days etc. also it comes in a box so nothing was broken. and for those reading the food isnt out of date japan just has a different format or writing the dates. Overall its a good gift but personally i feel like there shouldve been more chocolate and stuff not quite a lot of jelly products

Excellent variety
My husband loved this box. It's absolutely packed with dagashi. Leans more to the sweet snacks so if you prefer savoury this might not be the right one for you.

Great for a one off
This was great for a one off, I was reading a book about Japan and really wanted to get entrenched in the culture. A bunch of the snacks were great and I found teh protions were really quite suitable. There were a few things I didn't like but after a while I found I got bored. A lot of these things tasted the same or very similar. While teh box was very well put together and it would be difficult to ask for more variety, I found thats what I wanted from it. Overall really enjoyable, might be more fun for a party!

Remember Japanese Best Before Date Format is Year/Month/Day
These were very good. Very enjoyable. Did at first get surprised when I saw the expiry dates on them, worried they may be out of date as per what another review did, but checking online the format (you can't just assume anything will be the same in other languages) I was relieved to know that they are all in date. Thank you!
