Bugger to put on
My main complaint is that it doesn't come with instructions. Literally just the blades. No papers, diagrams, informational hooblah on how to put them into the clipper machine. Nothing about how to tune it.Which I learned about from Google and YouTube. The actual video for putting the blades on from Wahl was hard to follow. Given that there's no words but text you have to read while you're putting the blades on. Very inconvenient and annoying that I had to outsource the information needed to be able to use the blades.Pro is that they come oiled up already. At least I think they are. After I put the blades on, straightened everything up (which took the better part of 20 minutes), tuned it with that side screw, I'm trying to cut my son's hair and the blades stopped a few times in his hair like it was clogged. There was barely any hair in the blade area so I have no idea.

Very LOUD. Spend the extra $10 and buy Wahl OEM replacement blades!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this set of blades because I dropped my Wahl clippers, and a few of the teeth on the original top/outer broke off. Upon receiving these new blades, I installed them, oiled them, then fired up the clippers. The new blades made an excruciatingly loud buzzing noise, compared to the normal soft buzzing that is to be expected. The new blades literally sound like the scoreboard buzzer at a basketball game.My bottom/inner blade was fine, so I ended up re-installing original bottom blade and throwing the ceramic bottom blade in the trash. The loud buzzing went away, and it's back to normal. So long story short, if you just need a replacement top/outer blade, this will be fine. If you're trying to replace a dull bottom/inner blade for a sharper cut, I'd stay away from this product and pay the extra $10 for Wahl name-brand OEM replacements.

The right product at the right price.
Corona virus 2020 compelled me to dig out my old clippers, only to find the blades were oxidized and would not clip through my hair. Replacing the blades on my clipper thru Barber Supply, rather than replacing the clippers was a FAR less expensive thing to do. And, the free shipping arrived in two days (even though they said it would be three at check-out).The old blades came off easily by removing a pair of really short screws. Don't lose those screws because the new blades in this kit do not include new screws. (some other kits do have replacement screws)Then, the new blades went on with a little bit of adjustment. My tip is to install the new parts and tighten the screws till slightly snug, but not tight. Then carefully push the gold blade around till its teeth are set slightly longer than the white (ceramic) blade, and the same length on the right as they are on the left. Then carefully tighten the screws the rest of the way, making sure the gold blade doesn't shift around as you do this.Close the deal with a couple drops of oil and you are ready to buzz. You have to supply the oil because this kit doesn't include any (again, some other kits do include oil). Easy-peasy.New blades are a little louder than the old blades were. More noticeable when you clip around the ears, obviously. But, baby do they cut! I don't know how long the sharpness of the ceramic blade will last, yet. But right now I'm really good with them.

Working good
Had an old Whal Color clipper I dropped and partially broke the blade long time ago. Decided to give this a shot and replace the blade. Wasn’t too bad just two phillips screws and have to get it on the right way can be a little tricky but nothing difficult, i also had to reuse the old screws because the ones that came with it don’t fit the holes. Have given myself a haircut and definitely works better than my other clippers now, will replace those as well.

Taper blade
I can confirm this is a taper style blade. The gold magic clip came with a fade blade that I felt took longer to fade out lines and wanted a traditional taper blade. This one works great and matches the gold of the magic clips well. It’s not louder or hotter than the original either. Great product and quality
