I was disappointed to find out this is simply a $3.00 YJ Guanlong cube repackaged in a fancy box. If you take off the center cap, you can see their logo. Just buy the Speedripper cube. That's my main cube for competitions.

I recently got into the hobby of speedcubing after not owning a cube in 20+ years (maybe longer). I started with an original Rubik's Cube I purchased at Toys R Us and when I was having difficulty with the cube sticking during turns I looked to Amazon to find a better cube for speed cubing, immediately this cube came to the top of the rankings both in reviews and the sheer number of reviews (over 2,000) and I quickly made the purchase. When I received the cube I will say I was impressed with the packaging and with the follow-up by the seller and how customer focused they are, that is really nice to see and I think they're a great company and are really looking for the customer's best interest, if I could separate out my review stars between the product and the seller, I would give the seller 5 stars easy, they are that good!After spending a week or so with this cube and watching tons of speedcubing vids on YouTube I found multiple websites devoted to speedcubing and wound up purchasing a MoYu WeiLong GTS cube. When that cube arrived and I started playing around with it a little I could tell right off the bat that this was something different, the GTS was made for speedcubing, The Cube was good and all, but the GTS blew the doors off, and the GTS isn't even one of the better speedcubes out there. So it was then that I learned that with Amazon, although you will get something decent when looking at reviews etc, but if you really want the best you need to do your due diligence and research what you are embarking on. I didn't know speed cubing had this huge base and ridiculous amount of companies dedicated to the hobby/sport making quality products for several years. You would never find these products on Amazon and if you do, it wouldn't do them justice. If you are serious about speedcubing google it and see all there is out there about the topic and you'll also find the websites that sell the cubes and devote themselves to nothing but speedcubing.

Purchased this item as a Christmas present for my 11 year old son. When he opened it it was his favorite present. It worked smoothly. He thought it was the best. He has only used regular cubes. A couple of hours later his mechanical side took over and he took it apart on the livingroom floor. He was amazed at how easy it was to take apart and was putting it back together when his older sister came in and stepped on a piece rendering it useless. I decided that he had liked it so much that on payday i would replace it for him. Before payday I received an email from A Great Life asking for a review. I explained what had happened and that after we get the replacement I would do the review. Even though the problem was not their fault they are sending the replacement. To me that is taking the customer service very seriously and going way above and beyond expectations. Thank you

One of the best things to buy your kids to get them off electronics. My 10yr takes it where ever we go, even at school. Accepted and encouraged to help fine motor skills. This speed cube helped my 10yr solve in 1min 40sec. Now, he's got a group of his friends competing and teaching algorithms to solve. By the way, customer service.....Awesome!

Falling apart on day one. First it was center white square popping out. I glued it back. Now it is blue center square popping out. Very poor quality.

Lots of emails in regards to this product from distributor. However was not able to return it once I realized the colors were stickers and that it was very lite cheap feeling plastic.

So when I was in high school, I took all AP classes, so at the end of the year you have like month where you don't really have class anymore. So me and all my friends in AP classes bought rubix cubes and decide we would have a race to see who could figure out how to solve it first. Then, once we had all figure it out, we decided we would start competing on who could do it the fastest. Normal rubix cubes are stiff, and generally don't turn smoothly, and when you are trying to beat the 42 sec record, smoothness matters. One of my friends figure out how to take his apart and grease it so he could turn his waaaaay easier then the rest of us. I was always jealous of his rubix cube and to this day wondered if I could figure out how to do that. But after today, no grease needed, I bought the cube and its turns so easy and smooth it would put the greased cube to shame. I would highly recommend buying this. It is a pleasure to play with.

I did not receive this item for free nor was it discounted. I paid full price for it.* Update *aGreatLifeBrand sent another cube and the yellow cap does not fall off. Now I'm very happy with this cube.The cube turns very nicely but the center caps keep falling out. I am in no way a speed demon. I only bought this cube because the originals are difficult to turn.I have tried calling aGreatLifeBrand for the past two days but there has been no answer or even the opportunity to leave a message. I went to their site and there is a limited-time offer for a free cube. I figured that I would try another one before leaving a review. At checkout, there was a $5.90 shipping charge. I won't spend any more for it.It's a shame because I really do like the smoothness with which it turns.

This cube is absolutely excellent! I've very recently learned how to solve a Rubik's cube and wanted to get a smother cube to practice getting faster on. My old cube was clunky and jammed almost every time I tried to complete a move set. This Cube, however, is smooth, it turns fast and does not jam. It's actually very hard to deliberately jam it (though don't know why anyone would want to do that). Move sets are very easy to complete because very little pressure is needed to turn each face of the cube. The colours of the cube are bright and are aesthetically pleasing on the eyes. The cube is the standard size and has a good quality feel to it.I would highly recommend this cube to anyone (from beginners to advanced cubers!), especially if you are looking to buy this as a gift for someone because even the box it comes in is really cool. I don't know who designed the box but they deserve a pat on the back, it is very interesting and adds to the whole 'good quality product' feel that the cube has.Well done aGreatLife in creating such a good Cube!

Little bit smaller than I imagined but that don't detract from the quality of this classic puzzle. Very well made. Cube turns with ease when you use it and whilst a little bit more expensive than other cues I saw, I can see why! You get what you pay for! Delivery was slow as I was getting emails to reveiw product before I had received it! I've bought it as stocking filler for my computer mad neice! She likes challenges so I'm sure this cube will give her that!

This is a great item it arrived on time and was nicely presented, it is very easy to turn unlike my old one which I cannot move in a certain direction at all now, it arrived with the puzzle solved, and so far I have not scrambled it as I want to keep it like that as long as possible as I do not know when it will be the same again, if you want a good cube to play with this is better than most.

A little expensive for what it is. The cube itself felt quite loose on first play, so I had to tighten it slightly. I do agree that in dim light, it is very difficult to distinguish between the yellow and white tiles. If you accidently drop the cube, the cover bits to each tile might pop out and you'll have a completely new puzzle trying to place them back on the correct tile.

Used to have a genuine Rubik's cube but misplaced it a few years ago. Recently decided to get a new cube and after looking at a few options I settled on this one. Really glad I got this instead of just going with another Rubik's! Great quality. It's got a pleasant weight to it and feels amazing when solving it! In my opinion this is much better than any other I've played with. The sides turn very smoothly and easily and you don't even need to completely line up one move before starting on the next. The only slight negative is the colours chosen for yellow and orange: both are a bit too lumo for my taste, but definitely not worth losing a star for.
