These are very large and sturdy positioning mats. Multiple handles down both sides give you options for lifting and repositioning. I wanted to bring my 260 pound husband home for hospice. He didn't want to stay in the hospital. This product enabled me to honor his wishes. I could not have cared for him at home without it. I could use it to turn him, and to position him properly in the bed. I am so grateful that I found this. I ordered this one plus a different brand. They were both good, but this one was slightly better. It was a little bit longer, and seemed to be able to handle a little more weight. Here's how I used it: I put the fitted sheet on the hospital bed mattress first. Then I put this sheet on next. I layered it with chux, which thanks to this product I was able to change as needed.
