Works great for shellac polish. I love shellac but don't get manicure regularly so I like the option of taking it off at home. This worked great. I would do one hand at a time. Then move to the other hand. The hardest part is getting the foil to stay on your finger. I left it on for a while and the nail polish peeled off with a cuticle pushers help.

This was such a great kit for removing my gel manicure. Left my nails feeling healthy with no weird residue.

Good kit - has all the items you need for proper removal. The aluminum foil sheets with the built in cotton patch are really functional and you can reuse them a couple of times before you need to replace them. Overall - a nice kit - though you could buy each items individually a bit cheaper.

The foils have a 'pad' attached to soak with the liquid. The foil is a thicker grade so you can't really manipulate the foil to get the pad to stay on the nail in order to penetrate and get the polish off. The foils are also WAY TOO BIG making it even more difficult to keep the 'pad' on the nail. I ordered thinking it would be a longer term kit but there are only 10 foils anyway. Just order the acetone for gel nail polish and use cotton balls and reynolds wrap. For me, it was the only way to get the acetone as everything else was out of stock.

This kit made it so easy for me to get started on doing my own nails! I still enjoy going to the salon once in a while but I especially love that I can now do this by myself or do my daughter's nails!This kit has everything you'll need to do your nails over and over again.

I honestly don’t want to give this kit a 1 star it’s terrible the acetone was not even halfway full in this little bottle. You have to keep using the acetone by the way which means the little bit that give in the bottle is worthless don’t waste your money

Thank you for such a wonderful product. We were new to gel polish and a bit nervous. This product line is simple to use and a very high quality product. I will be using Red Carpet products for a long time.

I received a red Carpet kit with the UV light for Christmas, was very impressed with the results and the ease of use. So I just had to purchase the removal kit. Makes take the gel off so easy.

This is the first kit I've bought as I have never removed gels at home before. I knew what to do from watching the girls from the salon and the instructions were spot on. It is easy to use these foil wraps (one hand at a time) and the gel just flaked off.

Does remove, makes it easier to soak the RCM off. Need patience to use it! Wait at least 10 minutes, preferably 15 before you even check....

This did not seem to work very well but I may have been using it wrong. I will be using again and hope to have more success next time.

Took 2 x 15minutes to get the gel off and still took a lot of work with the stick.No cuticle oil in the box - not happy.
