Braun Series 8 Electric Shaver 8370CC

After hating electric shavers most of my now long life I have found one that truly works for me. The braun series 8 gives me a superb shave that lasts for 24 hours. No burned, scraped, skin. No rough patches where the razor failed to cut. Even can cut longer hair much better than any other I have used. The beard trimmer works well around the nose and mouth but it is somewhat awkward to use. Having gotten use to it, I think the series 8 is a 5 star electric razor. I am using the cleaning-lubricating system that came with it. That too is exceptional in performance. All of it works for me.

Replaced a Braun CoolTec because I got tired of trying to find the 40B replacement blades (wondering how many years they've been corroding in their packaging), and the charger has been making a really high-pitched noise that gets louder over time as the shaver sits in the cradle.I did a bunch of research and really didn't want the new redesigned Braun shaver/sticks. They look like a nightmare and there's no excuse for not having a trimmer to flip open to quickly use.I didn't want the Series 9 foil/blade contraption since it looks like you need a 100% flat face for all the different cutters to work properly.Reading reviews, I feel like I found a hidden gem since this model was just released in the US and before I ordered it the shaver wasn't even listed on Braun's website. In my opinion, this shaver has the best set of features for the price without investing in the Series 9.Other than shaving great with a much higher oscillation rate, the shaver is MUCH lighter than any of my other Braun shavers (Series 7 and 5 mostly), most likely because of the Lithium Ion battery, but maybe (hopefully) it is just better technology and more refined.

I love the look and feel of the shaver. I love that it has a self cleaning station.

I'm very happy with this Braun shaver. I've just switched from a different brand shaver that had a very wide shaving head, and I have a lot more control with the Braun shaver. I feel like both give me a close shave. I've used Braun in the past, was always happy, and this experience is the same. I also like the automatic cleaning system that Braun uses. My only complaint is that the trimmer is difficult to slide up while shaving because you must push in a button at the same time as you're sliding it up, making the process very awkward. The charge usually lasts at least two weeks of normal use, so great for travel without dragging along a cord.

Best Shaver I have ever owned. Light weight and perfect for traveling. I love the lock feature and the simple case. It does everything well. Everlasting battery life. I shave twice a week and this thing last me months. A very neat package here. It does everything well. It checks all the boxes for me.

Cuts good but it's a little loud

For 1 week shaved one side with braun and other side with 4 year old Norelco rotary,did not see any difference. With the braun I felt more razor burn. Both not great on neck hairs.

This is my 2nd Braun razor, it feels and works better than the series 3 it replaced.
