When Soul Vows arrived and I lifted it out of the box, it felt so lovely in my hands. The cover art work is gorgeous, the paper is thick, and I was surprised by the subtitle: Gathering the Presence of the Divine In You, Through You, and As You. Janet Conner took me by the hand and drew me in clearly laying out what this book is, and isn’t.In Soul Vows, Janet gives step by step direction with guideposts all along the way so that you may discover for yourself what has been there all along. This book asks you to be a fearless explorer in the process of learning your false vows then listening for your true soul vows as you use the chakras step by step. Janet’s use of quotes from Meister Eckhart, John O’Donohue, Kabir Helminski and others support and deepen her teachings. Discoveries from some of her students demonstrate there is no one “right way”, and she encourages you with prompts, thoughtful questions, and poetry to go deep and hear what wants to be heard, see what wants to be seen, to find your own truth and bring it to life by creating sacred space and using ritual which she shares and explains. I continue to marvel at what a beautiful and powerful book this is.

The road recovering my divine nature has been ongoing for many years: mystery school, Shamanic studies, I Ch'ing, and various healing modalities etc..Never before has any work taken me to the level which revealed the energy patterns, which Janet labels false masters, of not just this lifebut traits that my soul has carried forward for eons. This is my second time taking this Course with Janet. I first took Soul Vows in 2012. And never gave it a thought to take it again until Janet mentioned she would be teaching the course using her new book . I love the book, but when I really want to absorb something, I listen to it in Audio format. So I purchased Soul Vows Audio Book. I absolutely love it!!! There is something magical about hearing an author read their book. The sound of their voice and the love that is conveyed through the message is tangible. I often wonder what Rumi or Hafiz would have sounded like and how just by hearing their voice speak their poems how that would affect me. I highly recommend the audiobook version.

But through the chakras is not the only way you will journey towards your vows.I also took the course again, this time for the third time, which I highly recommend also. All of Janets courses have enriched my life, they have opened doors I didn’t know existed. The book and the course have been a mystical magical experience for me. This is one of those books that take your breath away. Probably the most important book you'll ever read. It's about aligning your life with what your soul wants. But, what does your soul wants? Imagine yourself being so clear and so in tune with the deepest understanding of your soul vows that life becomes so clear, every decision so aligned, every moment so mystical... This book gave me clarity, purpose, and a deep understanding of my path.

Cannot recommend this book enough. It can turn your life around in a good way.
