Sass & Belle Queen Bee Golden Salt & Pepper Set

Bigger than expected but beautiful to lay out on a dinner table they look very ornamental and beautiful.

I love Sass and Belle products - they are always high quality, durable and pleasingly quirky this set is no exception.You get a salt and pepper shaker - salt having a single hole and the pepper having three holes. They are beautifully crafted and have lovely engraving to make the bees wings stand out. The colour is an antique gold and hasn't worn off yet despite some rough handling.The shakers were a bit smaller than I had expected but still suitable for the dinner table as they hold a surprising amount. They feel quite lightweight in your hand.These were easy to fill as there is a single hole with a rubber stopper on the bottom like a child's piggy bank. The aperture is wide enough that you can pour to fill it without too much mess.If I was going to be picky I'd say that the salt shaker can flow a bit too quickly when you are using it and the shape is a little bit awkward in your hand at first, but nothing that can't be solved by covering the aperture with your finger slightly.I love how stylish and expensive looking these are - so I'm willing to put up with a few minor usability flaws but I am a self confessed shallow cow and it may be a deal-breaker for some.

Lovely, quite small but really pretty

Absolutely useless as salt and pepper shakers, you can’t get the bottom open to get the salt or pepper in. They are now just ornaments in the kitchen

Awful item... broken in box

These were an Xmas present. They are so cute and a great present.
