Hit count & sweetspot, yes, Correct spin, no
I'm a lefty and for me it never gets the spins right. I go to a lesson and hit nothing but topspin with my pro for an hour. Zepp tells me almost all my forehands were slice and all my backhands were neutral. If you need a count of hits or percentage that you hit the center of the strings, this will do that. However, if you are a lefty, it will not get the spins correct. Can't say for a righty. And I bought a half dozen mounts to put on my many racquets - now they have come out with a version 2 that has a different mount. I will not be buying version 2.

Incredibly useful device for improving one’s game
I use this all the time and have separate mounts on each of my rackets. I particularly like to monitor my strong topspin on forehand versus one handed backhand. This has been invaluable in improving my topspin. Also, it's incredibly useful in monitoring each separate practice serve in 3D mode where I can see the swing path and also get a good estimate on the overall speed of the serve. In addition, I turn it on and follow an entire match, reviewing its statistics afterward. It's small enough that it doesn't get in the way of any of my strokes. The present price of around 50$ is a huge value for those thinking of purchasing it. I bought it at 100$ and it was worth every penny. Originally I was skeptical as how useful it might be but as I mentioned I use it all the time when practicing or playing a match. It gives an unbiased report on how I'm actually doing along a number of critical parameters.

Inconsistency will frustrate you
I give two stars for a good idea. Calibration is inconsistent. Know that you can't just walk onto a court and use it. You have to turn on your phone, go into the app, put the racquet down on the court, wait for it to calibrate. On another occasion, played an entire match and the lights were blinking the whole time indicating it was on, but nothing was captured. The one time it did capture, it was totally inaccurate. Only 3 serves during an entire match as one example. Again great in theory, poor in execution. For the price it needs to be more than a novelty and actually be accurate and consistent. Returned.

Put a new twist in your tennis game
I bought this used just to see how it was. The reviews were mixed and thought that both the positive and negative views had their warrant. When I received mine and started to play actual matches, I was very pleasantly surprised how the device can actually read where the ball struck the string bed and showed the breakdown of my shots between forehands, backhands and serves and then broke down the forehand and backhand shots by topspin, flat shots and slices. The unit will provide an overall rating for your match which really do not mean much initially as you start using this device but I can see how this baseline can start providing you how you did overall as you play more matches. Overall, I am happy with this device and buying this used makes it even better since the device seems to be performing without any issues. I am not sure if this will make you a better player but it can certainly tell you what you are doing well and what you are doing poorly. What you do with this information I guess will be the deciding factor. This does make me want to go out and play more so I can see how I am doing.

Not 100% there yet. C+
The concept is awesome. I wish the tool was too.Good:timer (but so is a watch)# of swingsSwing speedsweet spot or not detectorBad:Hard to / refuses to calibrate. You are asked to lie it on a flat surface and wait a few seconds for it to calibrate. Never can get there. The serve function appears to need to be reset after ever serve. Very annoying. You can't just serve 20 balls and look at the serves.Takes a while to synch to the phone / find the phone. A hassle if you are trying to get on the court.

Great product I have always wondered how fast my shots and serves are and now I have a very in depth analysis on how good my shots are. In some cases or doesn't seem accurate for example it says that 62 percent of my shots were forehand but that definitely isn't true , they include really nice and in depth instructional videos with pro milos raionic. Goo bang not your buck.

Waste of mony
This sensor is a big waste of money, i tryed to use it, but it doesn't work properly, does not register the pratice right, it sotp recording or turn it self off in the middle of the game, the way it attaches to the racket may work for baseball bot for tennis maks you lose grip! The sony sensor is much better!I wouldn't recommend this!

It’s a no from me
Cool in theory, but becomes inconsistent and more annoying than its worth. Product also had an adhesive for some racquets and it came off during play even when attached as recommended

Though it is a decent product, have problems in the 3D serve mode. Hardly tracks it and when it does, only tracks a few of the multiple serves hit.
