Does it work as good as the cobra? They dont make them anymore but i want a relfex vag tgat bounces back quick...not like the everlast ones

No it’s not quick to whip back. Make sure you buy one with a spring more towards the top of the pole for that. I bought this one and it’s a great product but, it’s slow to whip back. One punch wait, no combination punches with this one.

Is the bag inflatable, or a screw in?

It is screw in. It is like a rubber/foam type of solid pad. Fairly dense. A pretty ideal consistency for punching IMO

How hard is it to drain the sand/water out of the base?

Actually, I put cat litter in mine. The real fine stuff. I never take it out, so I can't answer your question. All I know is that the hole was really small and I had a hard time getting it in there. (Man. That did NOT sound right) I leave mine out side year round also.
