Bottom line is that I’m satisfied with the product (Made in Great Britain).Stars on durability I gave based on how it is made. I use it to protect chisels when doing a job off-site. Yes, the leather is a little stiff (other reviewers) but it’s new and not a special processed soft version. Purpose is to protect tools and get them in and out w/o too much hassle. That said, I can slide them in and out w/o effort. My widest chisel in picture is 26mm and 11” long. Can hold chisels up to 12” maybe 12.5” long.Leather is about 1/16” or 1.6mm thick. The stitches look quite durable. Good price. Delivered a few days before ETA.Will update review in case it falls apart.Faithful(l) product :)

This is an okay tool roll for flat wood working chisels, but the curve and sharpness of my carving chisels would shred this fast. Also, a reviewer compared this to the Stanley sweetheart tool roll, let me say other than the color the difference is night and day in quality and thickness of the leather, stitching and rivets on my Stanley are far superior in my opinion.

I really like the material and quality that seems to have gone into it for the price. I only have one little complaint that the layer for the pockets/slots is stitched completely flat against the back layer. Other than the big end pockets, it makes it a little hard to fit thicker tools into them. My chisels for example only go in blade first. I wanted to turn one upside down to make it roll easier and put the handle in first but the pockets are too tight to allow the handles in only the blades. But the chisels I have do have some exceptionally large handles so I almost shouldn't even be knocking a star off for that. I just wish they would have folded up the layer forming the front of the pockets while stitching to make them a little more of "pockets." Still an excellent product though.

I’ve purchased 2 of these and, on its very first use, one of them failed. Evidently what appears to be nice leather is actually made of paper because 3 of my chisels sliced through the back of the case and I didn’t even feel a tug!Mind you these are NOT super sharp chisels, I just purchased them used and while they are a tiny bit sharp I doubt they’d cut wood worth a darn.I suppose if you put blade guards on the chisels the cases would work ok but isn’t the point of a case to be ready to pull out a chisel and go?My recommendation, sorry to say, is to run away from these products.

There is literally nothing that I didn't like about this tool roll-up. Top quality leather, sized right for chisels and the price plus shipping is less than what I'd expect to pay for a similar product. The tie isn't even a tie...it's a belt complete with buckle and punched just as one would expect a belt to be. I may be ordering a second in the not-too-distant future. You can't go wrong with this product.

This fits all my carving gouges perfectly. Very thick leather and quality feel. Could use some mink oil or leather conditioner to loosen and soften the leather. This will certainly last for decades I bet. I put my tools in and rolled them up. Fits and looks great. It matches the one I got with my Stanley sweetheart socket chisel set.

This chisel roll will work well enough if your chisels are professional length. More typical chisels available at home centers are too short and will often fall out of this otherwise well made leather roll. I'd give it five stars for those fortunate enough to own a set of professional length chisels.

While cost is a concern for us all, and rightly so, I would offer overall the quality of the product is a main concern and a consideration from my perspective. I offer highest marks for the leather roll.

A nice, inexpensive chisel roll. I bought a Narex four chisel set which came in just a cardboard box, so I was looking for a cheap roll to store my chisels in and this item fit the bill.The roll itself is a nice thick leather, which feels like it can stand the test of time. There are 6 normal size pockets, and 2 larger pockets. The largest chisel I have is 32mm wide and this fits in the normal size pocket, no problems.The only downside to this roll is that the strap to keep this roll closed is in my opinion, too thin. While it is the same thickness as the leather used for the actual roll, you may be inclined to pull too tight and I fear that this may break. I'm happy to take this risk as I use my chisels infrequently, but I cannot give this item 5 stars.If you use your chisels periodically like myself, then this roll will be perfect for you. However, if you use your chisels quite frequently or daily, you will want to look for a sturdier roll as the strap will more than likely break under frequent use.

I got this after had a look at several other options and decided that, for the price, this was worth a punt. Pleasantly surprised about the quality of the leather which is soft but thick. The roll looks well made and the flap keeps my chisels in place and prevents them falling out. The strap and buckle looks ok but if it fails it wouldn't be an issue to replace with a tie instead. The only reason this doesn't get five stars is the stitching for the tool slots - the stitches go across the mouth of every other slot and given that my chisels are pretty sharp it is almost impossible to not cut the stitches when putting chisels into the slots. Ideally the slot dividers would have been double-stitched so that rather than going up-across-down-across-up etc. they went up-down-across-up-down-across etc. This would have added extra durability to the dividers and prevented chisels cutting the stitching. It's a minor gripe but one that will affect the longevity of the roll.

Bought this to use as a knife roll and it works well. Was concerned that some of the knife rolls (which cost more than this) had poor reviews and weren't strong enough.The suede material here feels strong and sturdy. The knives, which are various sizes all fit neatly into the slots. Two larger ones at the end and smaller in the centre.The top flap covers the handle and the buckle holds it all together. May not be the best option for travelling but fine for home storage.Please with this and would recommend.

This is great for a full set of chisels. After all, who wants to be carrying around a wooden presentation box? It keeps my chisels together in one place and protects against moisture in the air condensing on them. I imagine many of us in the UK will be storing these in places that are cool or damp so that's a bonus. It also looks and feel great to handle.

Nice. soft touch leather chisel pouch that looks like it will last a good while.It's a roll up leather pouch with a strap / buckle fastener. My chisels fit snugly in the slots and the flap keeps them in place. decent for the price.
