Don't waste your money it's not compatible.
I figured I'd help you all out because this is a complete waste of time and money. I have the newer 18 inch ring light it says it's compatible on the listing however it is not. It's missing the little tabs to lock it in. It doesn't stay on or work and just falls out. This is completely false advertisement. I included photos of the light I have so you can see. I need a light to photograph for my reselling business and now I have wasted even more time waiting for this to just have to return it. And then wait for another one that I need to run my business.
