The product itself is alright, but consider how cheap it is. I purchased this to be a convenient system for washing my car's wheels by my garage as I don't have a hose and water system. The power is like a gentle stream, but this is far preferable than manually pouring water out of a pitcher. What fascinated me the most, making me write this review in the first place, is that the customer service is FANTASTIC. I purchased this almost exactly a year ago, and only recently got around to find the paper work for contacting the company. They have actual people who are standing by to take your calls and questions, and a gentleman named Eric helped me by shipping out a replacement within the brief time it took to confirm my order. On the note of the item failing. I'd say after using it a decent handful of months, it only lasted me about half a year with constant use. For a product less than 50 bucks, that's completely reasonable. Especially considering the issues of corrosion and battery failures that will happen by design.

This product is awesome & has come on handy on several occasions. It works great for the application for which it is intended for & that is for camping shower's. I've also used it for washing dishes, washing fresh wounds, cleaning off muddy & dusty shoes prior to entering an area I would like to keep clean, & a number of other situations including just using it simply for it's water pumping abilities since most water pumps require electricity. So far this product has held up just fine with pumping hot water through it, water that was at a boil a a minute or two prior to pumping it. The attachments are nice, but it also works great with no attachment & has the flow of a typical garden hose. It's quite & the battery lasts much longer than I ever expected it would. The ONLY downfall of it is the fact that it requires the charger that it comes with instead of just utilizing the USB set up that most products you must charge for now a day's. This is unfortunate because someone broke into my car & stole my charging cable bag, so now I have this awesome product that I would continue to use but can't ascI can no longer charge it up. I would definitely recommend this product as long as you're capable of keeping the charger with it.

Got this just in time for a week long camp trip in Northern California, due to endless frustration trying to use our old gravity fed solar shower. This came with a good charge on the battery and we were able to get two quick showers out of it. We have a shower tent and used a five gallon bucket to hold the water (which we filled one day with our old solar shower). The on/off switch is both a strong point and a frustration. It's molded into the battery pack and clips to the shower hose so it's not IN the water like some others. The frustration is the switch points down, toward the water and it takes a pretty good push to click it. Your instinct is to use your forefinger on the switch and brace it with your thumb, but the problem is that the other side, where one might put their thumb, is rounded and you can get no purchase, especially with wet, soapy hands. You either have to use both hands, one of which is holding the shower head, or just let the water run and waste precious warm water. A flat backside would solve this. Another slight irritation is the hook that holds the shower head. In our shower tent, it just points into air and can't be aimed, thus meaning you have to hold the shower head in one hand. Not a big deal, but those two issues knock it down a star. It also has a suction cup so you can stick it to a car window; that might be useful, but we didn't try that. The water pressure and volume is impressive! The shower makes nice spray pattern and the water flow is very nice. The battery life is also impressive, as we didn't even charge it and used it all week. Overall, a very impressive addition to our camp life!

Great price ,easy to set up. Use water warmed by sun , place the pump right into are 5gallon jug, enough water for two showers. Several showers on one charge.

Loved it at first and used it for 4 showers. On the 5th shower it would not work anymore. I put it on the charger again to make sure it was charged up but I got nothing from it. No power at all. I took it apart thinking the on off switch might be faulty and bypassed the switch but still nothing. I bypassed the little green board and wired the pump directly to a battery and it works so the issue lies with the electronic board inside. 10 dollars a piece for 4 showers is not what I had in mind. Waste of money!

I bought both the Ivation shower listed here and the older orange version. This version has some advantages but overall, I was not impressed and returned it. Price: While I write this, this version is cheaper, by ten dollars. When I bought them, the orange one was cheaper (I bought a return). The new gray model doesn't feel more durable or better though. It feels almost like a downgrade. But the price is nice. Battery: The battery pack with a button on it is not waterproof and has to be removed to charge. The instructions state that electric shock can occur if the battery is submerged in water. I think this is itself a deal-breaker on a camp shower. It is connected by a long cord to the pump. While this might mean you could turn it on or off more easily by hanging the pack near where the faucet is on a home shower, you still have to start the pump level with the shower head, so it isn't really that helpful. Pump: The pump is smaller than the older one, because the battery is detached. The cord between the battery and pump seems sturdy enough, but the risk of the cord getting damaged makes me nervous. Water hose: The hose on both showers is a good length, and it is essentially identical. Shower head: This has two attachments. One of them is a smaller head. I didn't see much utility in this, but it might be useful for a jet stream. Hanging elements: This shower's hanging hook is made of steel, whereas the old plastic one is... plastic. The steel does seem tougher and I suspect the older plastic style hook would break (I don't really care, as I plan on using paracord or other item to hang the shower head). The weight of the shower head tends to make the orange shower head point straight down. This one has a tendency to point straight horizontal. Neither is great, but the older orange design does have an advantage if you can find a place to hang it directly overhead. Battery: It is long enough to get the shower finished, which is enough for me. It will, like the older model, drain a five gallon bucket in less than five minutes so you have to move fast. I would recommend using very little soap, or perhaps using rinse-free soap so you don't risk having soap residue hanging out on your body. Overall: The orange, older version of the Ivation shower is simpler, and, I think, better. Having the battery pack inside the pump keeps the cords and clutter manageable. The showerhead seems a bit more ergonomic, and both work equally well. I think it's a matter of personal preference, but the non-waterproof battery pack on newer models is problematic, and the older version is less cluttered, simpler and seems a bit nicer overall.

I absolutely love this shower. The fact that you can run 45 minutes on a full charge it would last longer than a 5 gallon solar bag. Granted a solar shower heats up, you can easily achieve warm water in a 5 gallon bucket within a few hours on a sunny day. I use this with a 5 gallon gray bucket and have a comfortable shower. If you had two buckets you could easily swap pump to other bucket and the battery would last through both buckets for a lengthy shower. Easily and quickly charges with usb adapter. Great for camping, great for tiny living or off the grid (other than the need to charge). Great deal. Will never buy a solar bag again.

Have been using this same shower for two years and works perfect. Bought one more as a spare in case this one dies. One 15L pail of warm water is plenty for a nice shower.

It works well for the price. Not a ton of pressure, however it is reasonably strong . Compact and handy . We shall see how long it works without issues . Not running the pump dry will most likely extend its longevity.

Battery died after the first shower

I’m pleased with the overall design of the shower but find that the power cord should be longer. We use it in our sauna and just find that the battery cord is a bit too short. Otherwise we like it.
