I began using Forbrain in January of 2017. Singing with Forbrain is for me a wonderfully informative and intelligence-boosting experience. As a voice teacher, I find that almost universally, Forbrain helps singers more rapidly improve in ear training and vocal ability. This includes but is not limited to improved pitch, harmonic overtone production, tone quality, pronunciation and vocal registration. Plus, it's quite wonderful to have one's own personal auditory feedback loop system and is so easy to take everywhere!Forbrain headphones are so beneficial that at any given time, I have from three to five headphones on loan to clients. I find that use by clients makes teaching easier for me and facilitates faster growth in their levels of performance. Several of my professional and semi-pro singers use them at their gigs, especially in situations with poor PA monitors. Some even use them in recording studios along with the regular studio headphones. An audio engineer, to whom I frequently refer clients, has made measurements and finds that he personally and other singers he records, need less or even no auto-tuning in the studio when wearing Forbrain headphones. That’s a remarkable and easily-measurable benefit!I recommend that anyone who genuinely wants to pursue singing study with a qualified voice teacher who knows vocal science (Vocology). There already exists much scientific research on the benefits of Forbrain headphones. My hope is that targeted scientific research will be conducted with singers using Forbrain. I believe that such studies will validate that Forbrain is a significant enhancement to traditional vocal study and that it should be confirmed and recognized as such. All that said, I simply love singing and speaking with Forbrain!

I am convinced of the effectiveness of the Forbrain Headset device. The Forbrain Headset is easy to use and has proven very successful in my specialized tutoring practice while helping individuals strengthen and enhance their auditory and phonemic awareness skills. Used in conjunction with the Foundation in Sounds and Barton Reading and Spelling Programs, Forbrain has provided my students with direct feedback via bone conduction, the most effective proven method of hearing, while they are speaking. This enhanced capability has proven critical in their ability to perceive and adjust their responses, strengthening the auditory-vocal loop, while learning the sounds of our language. After using a few times, I stopped using it, and when I tried to charge it, it just never charged it again and stopped working. Now it’s just piece of garbage.
