This was my favourite protein powder for taste, quality, efficacy and it's easy to mix.I decided to move to Huel as it's a pea protein, but this is still top notch.

The chocolate flavor is delicious and not too sweet. It mixes incredibly well with both water and milk without any clumps. I’ve noticed better recovery after my workouts, and it’s very easy on the stomach since it’s an isolate. Definitely my new go-to protein!

Bought both the vanilla and the chocolate to aid my weight loss if I'm honest both are very nice tate with no powder residue but the chocolate for me is my preferred taste

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now after gym sessions, and I can honestly see why it’s one of the most popular whey isolates out there.The Chocolate flavour is actually decent compared to a lot of protein powders I’ve tried. Not too sweet, no strange aftertaste, and it doesn’t taste overly 'chemical' like some cheaper brands. I mostly mix it with cold water and it still tastes smooth enough to drink easily.One thing I noticed straight away was how well it mixes. A few shakes in the bottle and it’s pretty much lump-free. No thick gritty texture either.What I personally liked most was how light it feels on the stomach. Regular whey sometimes leaves me bloated or heavy afterwards, especially if I drink it late evening, but this isolate has been much easier to digest. I’ve had no stomach discomfort with it so far.In terms of recovery, I do feel it helps after harder training days. Obviously protein powder isn’t magic, but when I’m consistent with this and my diet, I definitely recover better and feel less sore the next day.I also appreciate that the protein content is high without loading the product with lots of sugar or fillers. You’re mainly paying for quality protein here.The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the price. It’s definitely on the expensive side compared to standard whey. But if digestion, mixability, and cleaner ingredients matter to you, I’d say it’s worth trying at least once.Overall, probably one of the better protein powders I’ve used recently and one I’d actually buy again rather than forcing myself to finish the tub.

The powder does not mix properly in cold water, leaves small lumps even after using a shaker and blender, and I also experienced digestion discomfort after using it.This is not a negative review about Optimum Nutrition as a brand because I still use and trust their products. My concern is specifically about this Amazon purchase and the quality of the item I received. I cannot confirm whether the product was improperly stored, old stock, or not genuine, but something definitely feels different compared to my previous purchases.I’m sharing this review only to make other buyers aware and encourage them to purchase from the official Optimum Nutrition website or trusted retailers like Holland & Barrett for better confidence and consistency.
