IKEA MALM dressing table

Both happy and upset. I need to start off by saying this makeup vanity (what i used it for) is absolutely gorgeous, it matches my whole room, its glossy and the wood is nice. The glass top just finishes that fancy look. But i did get it damaged, the wood is sturdy so it had to have taken some force to break it(pic showed) I did not want to go through the hassle of returning it, because the damage was on the inside and in the back and I can't see it. Also the drawer piece is also chipped I had to hot glue it down but it still works. So I got over it (pic showed) hence some of the other reasons why I gave it half the stars is, really watch the size of this its much longer then I thought and shorter then I thought (my fault) it doesn't fit my vanity chair that I made personally, so I'm sad about that will need to get a new chair now. Then putting it together the instructions are only pictures which I thought was strange, my boyfriend had to help me and it took us about a hour (we were slow at it too so). And last, I'm 5'1 152 lbs and I do heavier lifting for my career, and I could not lift this by myself in the box just a heads up lol. So I say get it it is worth it in the end of all the hassle 💀😊 will update picture when vanity is set up better

I got this for my niece for her vanity table and she loves it. We looked at many different models but this is what she wanted. I would have much preferred a more traditional vanity table for myself because I think it would be a little more functional. However this is what she wanted and she did just as others and got a lighted vanity mirror and put it on top. This does require assembly. Someone noted that this costs much less at the Ikea store and it is, but we do not have one near and the shipping costs put it at a much higher cost than I could get on Amazon. So it was cheaper on here plus I got the faster shipping so this was the right choice for us. Overall, I like the table and my teenage niece loves it. I will attach a couple of photos as well so you can see how it looks.

This vanity is a must have!! It’s really sturdy and the drawer is really spacious!! The glass top just sets the whole thing off and makes it look so classy and glam! It’s a little over priced considering ikea was selling it for $160 but I just had to have it so I gave in. I didn’t give it 5 stars because mines was a little damaged. I would have sent it back but didn’t want to go through the hassle and plus I was covering it up with contact paper anyway. Which just added to how awesome this table looks!

I had been wanting the malm dressing table from IKEA to match my malm dresser but it has been out of stock. when i saw this i decided i would purchase it. I did not get a glass top for my table, nor does my table match my other malm furniture (the finish is completely different) however it is all in all a cute table that will serve its purpose for me, so i feel no need to return it, however it is not what i was expecting.

I saw this item in IKEA and knew it would be the perfect fit for my bathroom. I was not ready to purchase at that point, so I did not purchase it right away. When I was ready to purchase it was no longer in stock anywhere near me at IKEA. So I looked for something like it, only to find it here. It was a lot more money. So I thought it over long and hard. With COVID-19 there were no guarantees when IKEA would be back in a stock. So I moved forward with the purchase. The item was delivered in a sturdy box with re-enforced strips along the corners protecting it in full. Arrived safe and sound, fits perfectly and I am glad I moved forward with the purchase.

LOVE it. It was the one i really wanted so i didn’t mind spending the shipping. there is a little damage from shipping on the inside of the right leg, but i don’t care - i’m just glad to have it - it is what i wanted. i will get some pretty peel and stick wallpaper to cover it. it’s in the bottom on the inside - so it’s not a deal breaker.( It came well packaged but STILL it was damaged.)

underneath the drawer he came cracked like that, so I’m scared to the drawers not gonna stay if it breaks more and they’re supposed to be a screw that goes in right there and I could not put it in because of this

The ikea app itself was acting up but I saw that Amazon was selling the malm vanity table. It was a bit more on the pricey side but so, so worth it! I had seen some of the negative reviews and I immediately had my doubts, but I still took the leap of faith and ordered it! I hope anyone who orders the table from here gets it in good condition just like me! It took maybe an hour to set up. Definitely worth your money!:)
