I was shocked how expensive simple frames like this were at the local stores here, literally 2-3 times as much as this one, making it a logical choice for a stock print I wanted to put up. This one is fine for non-critical photos and the like, although I wouldn't entrust anything really valuable to it. The glass is almost certainly not UV protective, and you can see that part of the matting is ordinary corrugated cardboard which is not going to be acid-free. The matting was a little surprising to me; the two mats are not particularly thick with the usual angled cuts; rather, one sits atop the other with a nearly-invisible cardboard spacer between them. It looks perfectly nice, but isn't what I fully expected. A good buy so long as you are prepared for its peculiarities.

Perfect. Just what I needed for a print I purchased. This arrived very quickly via FedEx, in perfect shape. Frame is some sort of plastic-like material, but you cannot tell that at all just by looking at it. I took off one star because I HATE the "wall hugger" hangers. You're meant to put two nails in the wall to hang this using the funky plastic things they give you. But in my mind, that's twice as much work as I want to do to hang a relatively small frame. The good news is that I threw the plastic things away and hung this using a regular picture hook which easily grabs onto a slight lip inside the frame.

I like it because it is a smaller frame for the opening mat size, usually this size mat opening is in a 16x20" frame. It is what it says. Your photo will stand out with the double mat, however it requires two nails to hang as it has two plastic saw-teeth hangers in the top corners to hang it from. For such a light frame one saw-teeth would have done nicely in the center, or two D rings on the sides to draw a hanging wire through.

I ordered the 14" x 18" in white and one in black for prints I had purchased in Disneyland. The prints fit wonderfully, the white frame arrived in great shape. The black frame however came and is cracked/coming apart in the corner. It's not an end of the world thing, and I was expecting frames to come banged up anyways. Just a bit of a bummer.

Looks good from the front.The shadow is achieved with space between the two pieces of "mat".However, it is not made of heavy, normal mat board, but more like cardstock. No beveled edge. Could be damaged easily when handling the mat (to clean the glass, insert your picture, etc) but should not get damaged in shipment or once it's all assembled.There is not a ton of room for a thick piece. My photograph was already mounted on a board that I could not remove, and so my picture was about 3 or 4 mm (1/8 inch or slightly more) thick, and I had to really force it to get the back on.As another commenter noted, there is no center sawtooth or hole for using one nail, but the frame can rest on one nail using a ledge formed by the back of the frame and the slit in it.

Two very nice features that these frames have are the following:1) The 14x18" frame allows for a beautifully symmetrical mat for the 11x14" photos. I prefer this to the look of an 11x14" photo in a 16x20" frame with mat.2) The EZ-Hanging Wall Grabber feature is a great addition it truly makes it easier to hang.Overall, very sturdy and beautiful picture frame. A word of caution, some of the frames may have defects (corners splitting at time of arrival) so just ask for a replacement. It's worth the wait.

Well worth the shipping wait. I debated for a while about whether to order this one or not since I already had the print and wanted to get it up on my wall- but I'm really glad I did. It is a very nice frame and classes up any sort of print or picture you might want to put in there. It does have some strange hanging hooks as others have mentioned- none I've ever seen before- but as long as you have them snuggly in place (not hard to do) they work perfectly. They will probably keep the frame from warping in the long run, as lots of frames tend to do over time.

Hard to find sized frame. Good condition. Comes with perfect eaay hanging clips.

First one I received had a nick out of the frame. Returned it and Amazon replaced it. Second one has scratches on the glass. Kept it because it was for a gift and didn't want to wait again. Not very happy, but I guess you get what you pay for. Be prepared to gamble. Hanging system seems solid and easy. Was shipped very securely and I do not believe any if the damages was caused by shipping so perhaps someone else might have a better experience.
