It does need some TLC but the results are worth it
After reading some reviews on this griddle I decided to do some research before using it. I found out that you should definitely season the pan before using it. I read a few articles and watched youtube videos on how to season enameled cast iron pans. The Ultimate Guide to Cast Iron on mancavechef.com was comprehensive and echoed the other information I found. So I seasoned the griddle 3 times using grapeseed oil, to create a polymerised coating. MCChef recommended seasoning 4-6 times but I didn't have enough time before dinner.For cooking: after 5 minutes on medium heat the griddle was hot enough for the steaks (when a drop of water dances and dissipates instantly). We cooked 2 ribeye steaks on it and used a meat thermometer to check when done. Let rest for 5 minutes and eat. The steaks were perfect. The result was much better than with our heavy-bottom fry pan. So we are very happy with this purchase.Now for the cleaning. I re-heated it after dinner and wiped all the fat and bits off. I used a wooden spatula to get the bits in the grooves. I also wiped it down with a wet non-stick scourer to make sure I got all the food bits off. But cleaning was quick and easy! Since it was wet, I dried it off with paper towel and heated it up again to remove all the moisture.Since I knew this was going to be a well-used tool, I decided to put another thin coat of grapeseed oil and heat it up over the stove until it smoked for about 8 minutes.Update: We used it for cajun chicken (8 breasts heavily seasoned and very charred) plus asparagus. It did take more effort to clean this time, but it still was not difficult. The pan looked 'dull' after cleaning so I seasoned it again on the stove top until I got the shiny polymerised surface again. The pan does require a bit of TLC to maintain the non-stick but the food is so delicious it is worth it for me. It's like having a BBQ grill in my kitchen.

Very Easily Cleaned
So far, I've used my new griddle to cook meat and veggie burgers, bacon, paninis and wraps. It cleans by simply wiping it with a cloth and re-oiling it. I've thrown out my supposedly easy to clean (but actually impossible to clean) ceramic plate health grill.

great bit of kit not without flaws
Love the colour, the weight kind of stops it slipping on the glass and good heat distribution, not too large but bigger than a griddle pan so works a treat. On the downside ours is a bit bent across one diagonal and was told "that's normal" but it does work so will keep my flawed griddle.

Good value for money
Really good griddle pan it’s nice heavy to retain heat good quality so easy to use perfect for cooking steaks for a bbq would highly recommend

good item - difficult to clean
Good item, well built, heavy (which is good thing). works on Induction.Only negative, is that it is a bit difficult to clean, as some stuff does stick to it.

For one person smaller with handle would have been better

Good quality and easy to clean
Received the item yesterday and used it today. It is very handy, halloumi stuck to it but probably because I cooked sausages and bacon on it first on the hob. I thought it would be a nightmare to clean but no it was very easy. Nice size and going to try it on the Bbq next.
