Nice kit... Although.
The multimeter is okay. The solder iron however is disposable.(my experience) it works really well for a few hours, there was a load pop and then doesn't work, I can only assume the light indicating power blew, as it wasn't the fuse, a nice Christmas gift, quick jobs ect, for professional jobs or hobby projects, look for a better quality solder iron.

Value for money
This is my first Soldering Kit so it took me several hours researching on the cheapest, but good soldering kit. Two of our Laptop chargers stopped working and the cost of replacements was over £100. Without a Multimeter, I could not test one of the chargers to ascertain what part of it was faulty as it had no visible damage. So I was faced with the option to buy both a soldering kit and a multimeter. So I was very happy to come across a Soldering kit that includes a Multimeter for a price much lower than I expected to pay just for the Soldering Kit.It was delivered a day after purchasing it. Clearly, this is far from being a professional kit, maybe not even good enough for a buddying Enthusiast. So why 5 stars. Because for £22.99, I got a good Multimeter for home use. I measured a Laptop Charger and it recorded 19.2V and the manufacture rates thee charger at 19V so it is accurate. Things I had thought were blown now I am sure of what is reparable and what is not. Built-quality is very good. The instructions are very clear. So I did my first ever soldering job. It went well. I soldered Laptop Charger wires that were cut. I bought solder flux, hot air gun, and cable tubings, as well as a better soldering wire as what is included, did not impress me and some reviews said it was hard to melt. I soldered the wires with tubes in place before soldering so that after soldering I can shrink the tubings to cover the soldered areas. Both Laptop Chargers are back in service so this Soldering kit gets the job done. I am now more confident soldering various types of electronics, but doing trial runs before I tackle the main job.So overall, this more than offers value for money. I nearly bought a Multimeter that seems to be in the same league as the one included in this kit for £25. Now I have a multimeter and a soldering kit, all housed in a good quality zipped case for less than £25. There are similar kits from different Manufacturers. From the reviews, I see that in some of the similar kits, the Multimeter does not work well and in some, the faulty is same across users. Most users pointed out this Kit's Multimeter works and that made me take the bite.Yes, I recommend it.

It was about time I stopped borrowing work kit
There's very rarely a day goes by that one of my home projects doesn't need taking to work so I can solder it or test it in our lab. Having done quite a few home electrics, drones, and other hobby type projects, I thought it was time to take the plunge and have something at home. There is a tiny temperature control wheel/pot that provides broad control. I'd say I can get to within 20-30C of the target with this, but control is tricky compared to a digital entry. The iron itself comes with pretty much everything you need, stand, testing capability, desoldering, and a handy case. The iron itself to use is pretty normal for me. I usually use a fine tip and this comes with one that's pretty fine, along with wedge tips also.Heat up time is acceptable, but at 60W it will take its time to get there. On measuring I thing around 30seconds to 1 minute for the red light to stop flashing. Once at temperature solder prep, application, and removal, are all nice and speedy.I still might take my projects to work every now and again, however I'm happy that this kit will allow me to do most things at home. So far I've soldered up a set of drone Afro ESC's and it's come out pretty much as per my usual (slightly messy but secure) outcome.

just right for a beginner,
for some one like me, this was just the thing, soldering now and again, plus the eclectic box, so you know witch is neg-positive, as I have blow a few things up by butting the wires on wrong way round, 50/50 :)

works well
Nice toolkit for soldering and working on basic electrics. One thing i dont understand is why the on off switch for the solder is what i feel the wrong end of the cable, with the switch being closer to the plug and not the device...
