Perfectly Acceptable Coffee Stir Sticks
I love wooden sticks for coffee so they are a little more eco-friendly. These are perfectly acceptable. Sure, a few might be broken out of a thousand sticks (but they still stir—I'm not licking them, and they don't leave wood in my coffee). I was worried with the other reviews that they would smell like chemicals, but they smell just fine…just a little bit like wood (probably because they are wood lol). I only had to pull one out because it had something blue rubbed on it, but my kids were more than happy to use it as a drumstick. I also wish it came in a box or a better bag like the last brand I purchased, but I was able to put it in a bag that I already had and that was really not a big deal.PROS: 1) They work just fine for stirring coffee 2) They are plenty tall for whatever my needs may be (tall drinks, short drinks, crafts, etc) 3) They are pretty smooth and don't leave bits of wood in the drinks 4) They smell like wood, which is comforting since I was expecting wooden sticksCONS: 1) A few are just a little broken or crooked and one had blue on it, but that really isn't a huge deal unless you desperately need 1000 absolutely perfect sticks for a project; it's just fine for coffee (even the blue one would have been, since it was just a little on one tip).

Perfect coffee stirring stick
I ordered a box of these sticks for my office to use instead of plastic spoons, and they've been working great! A handful of them were broken, and they are generally rough cut. They work perfectly with coffee and creamer (i like lots of creamer). My coworker likes honey in her tea, and she said the sticks have a tendency to break while she's mixing it in. It's been a little over 2 years since I bought the first box, and I'm just now ordering a new one.

Good stir sticks
The package of stir sticks was delivered quickly, and intact. The sticks are surprisingly sturdy and effective, given that they are so slender. I wasn't expecting much when I tried the first one on a heavy hot chocalate, but it easily did the job. One forgets how strong birch wood is, in a world where most cheap things made of pine. Plenty long enough at seven inches to keep my fingers out of the hot liquid even in a large cup.I gave it a 4 because when I cut the plastic wrapper open the sticks tried hard to spill all over the counter.

MUCH better than the plastic stirrers.
We use these at work. Everyone loves them so much better than the little plastic stirrers. These are longer and, of course, more rigid and able to stir the coffee better. We use a lot of them, but, they are affordable enough given the usefulness. Actually, they might even be cheaper then the plastic ones because people used to have to use 3 or 4 plastic ones at a time to get a good stir. Anyway, just our opinion. We like them.

Perfect for your morning coffee
We bought these so we would quit using spoons in our morning coffee which then makes more dishes for the dishwasher. Felt like these were better ecologically speaking than using plastic . They are very long which is good if you have a big mug they aren't quite as stiff as I expected them to be but the price was excellent

These sticks are great for 12 cups.
Just what I was looking for. I take care of coffee supplies for the church that I attend. I was at Smart and Final and they had 5.5 inch or 8 inch stir straws. I had been getting complaints about the 5.5 inch straws because they were too short and some would say they had to use 2-3 to stir their coffee. The 8 inch was too long, sometimes the stir straw cup would get tipped over too easily. (The problems we have in America!!).So anyway, I said to myself why do I have to choose between these 2 unwanted options (plus our Costco stopped selling any stir sticks). Maybe I can find something online. I did and I will not try to buy these in a store from now on. These 7" wood stirrers are wide enough to stir properly and the right length for 12 oz cups.

Beware or splinters !
Got these to use as small wax sticks for my business. Great price for the amount although the wood is cheap, flimsy and splits. Lots of wood dust / chips in the bag. Be aware of small splinters!
