Works good
I am happy with the workmanship that is very good for the money I paid. The magnifying glass helps speed up the setting process. I may need to get a set with smaller punch for my finer tooth saws as the punch on this set is to big for anything below 12 points.

Works great
The saw set worked great. Easy to use I set the teeth on several saws from 7 to 11 teeth per inch. Especially liked the magnifying lens. Do not try to use a hammer and a nail set to do this job you risk ruining a handsaw.

Item Received is Not New
Product received is not new. Box was a mess up and damaged with sticker of "QC Pass". I guess QC does not stand for Quality Control with this company! The tool does not function properly and can not be tighten to hold required setting. Very poor quality and it is obvious this item was returned at least once before.

Surprisingly effective.
Surprisingly effective. At first I thought the mirror alignment was a poor design, but when I used it with the saw in the vice, it worked quite well. I also liked the spring action jaw that grabs the plate before the pin starts pushing the tooth. Very easy to control compared to my antique one.

After some modifications it is marginally useful at best
Was pretty disappointed. After seeing a bunch of positive reviews I was hopeful it would be useable out of the box. Maybe im just unlucky, but mine came with so much slop in the cylinder that locks onto the saw blade, that the piece that is supposed to push the tooth out, wouldn't actually touch the teeth of the saw. I had to take about a 1/16th piece of steel and shove it down the top of the cylinder to get it to actually push the teeth.Before, it would touch the tooth and then immediately lift up above and slide off of the tooth. Now after a while of dicking around with it, I was able to get it to slightly set some saw teeth. With it all the way on the heaviest setting, it barely sets enough to keep the saw from binding in the cut.I would recommend going on Ebay and picking up a vintage one. You can get a much better saw set for 25 bucks there.
