Nikon SW-10H Diffuser Dome for SB80DX & SB800 (Replacement)

Excellent quality, fits perfectly and snaps onto my SB800. Days at Disneyland and never came off on rides and more. Does not rely on pressure fitting to stay on the flash. It uses protrusions on the dome to fit the matching indents on the flash. So it is secure and easy to take off and put on, only when you want to. Always stayed in place while going in and out of my bag, etc.As for the dome performance, it acts as expected. A simple diffuser. If you have a Nikon flash and want a dome diffuser, I would spend the extra money and get this genuine Nikon one. As other reviews also state, it has the model stamp on the dome and comes in the Nikon packaging.

There are many aftermarket diffusers available that claim to work with the SB-800. Although I have not tested any of them out, I decided to pay a few dollars more to ensure that there would be no issues with the fit. This diffuser was purchased from Adorama via Amazon and it has "SW-10H" embossed on it. I understand that some aftermarket ones do not have any printing on them. The fit is great and it was definitely a good decision to purchase an authentic Nikon product.

It's worth it to buy the original manufacturers replacement. I had previously replaced the dome with another brand but it was so loose fitting that it fell off and was lost pretty quickly. This replacement has been on my flash since I got it without falling off at all.

I dropped one my my SB800s during a shoot. Fortunately, it landed on the diffuser, and not on the hot shoe. This item is identical to the original Nikon part and fits perfectly.

Excellent replacement for lost original. Don't waste time and money on cheaper ones...I did.

Dont do what i did and buy cheap copies from the web.This is built to last and it fits like a glove.worth the extra pennies in the long run.
