Storm: The SYLO Chronicles #2

From beginning to end this book kept my attention. It was written in a manner that made it quick and easy to read. It would be a great book for middle school students to read or anyone that enjoys reading action packed stories that have no offensive topics or language. This is the second book in a trilogy. Book one was just as good and I am excited to start reading the 3rd one.

With "Storm", D.J. MicHale has another winner! The apocalyptic genre of fiction is my favorite, and I have read MANY. Inevitably, stories of this ilk tend to be somewhat repetitive - not this one! MacHale has imagined and conveyed concepts of circumstance and weaponry that I could never have imagined, even in my wildest dreams! Marry that conceptual freshness with the simple, yet heroic, humanity of the main characters, and you have a great story! I can't wait to start book number three!

This book was loved by my junior high students. I actually raced one of them to see who could finish the book first. We finished within 3 pages of each other. It kept both of our interests throughout the whole thing. So it was loved by a variety of age groups.I am a middle aged female and my student was a 12 year old boy. We both loved it. It is the 2nd book to a series of 3. I have since also read the 3rd book. This is a great series with lots of action. I haven't always been a fan of science fiction but loved this series!

I wish it were not a series. I enjoyed the first two books, but will not invest in another as it is beginning to seem like the author is just stringing it out.

The Full Scale of the story is revealed in this book and it's immense. Great story about self-empowerment and what people take for granted once society is created. So much great character development and plenty of excitement as well.

STORM was an incredible book that was action packed and was un-put downable! It also gave significant messages and themes that can apply to every day life. I would recommend this book for middle school teens and up, because it deals with intense action and history going on. Overall, STORM was a terrific book!

great story enjoyed it very much good suspense relatable characters not to much tech jargon. i cant wait for the next book

i loved it so much! Was an amazing book! I really recommend reading it! Be prepared to stay up all night finishing it, this is a type of book that you cant put down!
