... wife after I bought a pair and they are comfortable and run great
Bought these for my wife after I bought a pair and they are comfortable and run great. Last pair I owned was 20+ years ago and it is amazing how far these have come. These ride very smooth and roll great. Yes there is effort involved, but rolling resistance seems very low on these.

Welll worth the money!!
Bought my daughter who is 8 a pair of k2 skates also. Highly recommend both! Very well made and adjustable in the child size. Great fun for us to do together. Look forward to many hours skating with my daughter! Good price for the money. Very well packaged and came in the mail timely. Worth the money!

They work great! Had to replace bearings which is cheap enough
They work great! Had to replace bearings which is cheap enough, they seemed a little stiff. The soft boot does not fit like a stiff boot, so if you have any problems with your feet turning out with your natural stance this may not be the blade for you. But they are comfortable and are true to size.

My daughter loves 'em!
My daughter got tired of using "rink skates", as they never seem to fit or roll properly. After many weeks of skating with rink skates, she knew exactly where to place bandages, before going skating, to reduce the inevitable blisters. All that stopped when she got her K2 Kinetic 78 skates. My daughter told me that she loves them. The only bandages she wears now are to cover healing blisters left over from the rink skates. The skates are very attractive, roll exceptionally well, install/remove quickly and are very comfortable. One skate has a brake at the back, while the other does not, as expected. The long screw that holds the brake on is also used to hold the back wheel in place, and the screw is longer than the ones used for the other wheels, so you'll need a shorter screw if you want to remove the brake. If you just want to move the brake from one skate to the other, no problem. The skates are well-packed in a huge, colorful, attractive box, so plan ahead if they're a gift for anyone in your home.

Worst skates my daughter owned
Those skates are the worst skates my daughter owned. She is good skater for the last 8 years she had different brands of skates. Those are the first that gave her blisters after each time she used them in different spots, mostly above her ankle. Today after probably 55 rides the right boot part detaches itself from the wheels so we have to just trash this terrible item.

I like these. However
I like these. However, I wish I had more support around my ankles. They don't feel tight enough around the ankle while skating. They look great and skate nicely. I would love for them to have even more support.

Very comfortable boots, nice control
Bought for my wife, these skates replaced her "starter" pair, that only fit so-so. I've used my K2 Soft Boot skates for years, so at this price it sounded like a good thing for her too. She says the boots fit perfectly, and she is skating with more confidence. We enjoy skating converted rail-trails and through neighborhoods. The K2's are a great choice for us.

Daughter likes them but the strap doesn't work well
Everything runs okay except the strap on the top bends when it should be firm, so it doesn't smoothly click into different levels of tightness. Unfortunately, this was a gift and I recycled the box and am unable to return the item. She still uses it, but it's a pain.
