OX Pro Torpedo Level 9" / 230mm

Great colour, well finished with a quality feel. Compares exactly with my similarly sized Stanley scaffold level. Not sure if mentioned in the description but this is also a 'scaffold' level in that the base has a V-groove with magnets to hold it on steel scaffolding standards (the vertical posts) and ledgers (the horizontal bars). Worlds tiniest quibble: the logo for Ox has a slash/cut mark in it which makes it look like the paint on the logo is scratched. My FujiFilm camera had exactly the same issue. Still, it's a lovely item.

I bought this torpedo level to replace my old damaged one (the make has rubbed off with use and I cannot remember what it was).When I first started to use it I noticed that if I spun it round there was a very slight discrepancy in the position of the bubble, only slight, but any discrepancy is not ideal.I am only using it for levelling individual bricks on my extension so as long as I am careful, it will do. I have a longer level for setting a level over several bricks etc.I am not that happy with it for the price to be honest.

Well made, solid and sturdy but lightweight, accurate level with good ruler.Used to trace out drill holes for hanging a pair of heavy pictures with fixed hanging points (no room for mistakes!)Highly recommended.

Does what it does. Durable. Good weight. Keep up the quality. When I get good at it, I will buy the pro with the dial.

I was super impressed that that the cut metal length is exactly 1200mm because, according to other reviews, it used to be 1200mm from the ends of the stops. The rubber end stops are easy to remove and replace so accurate in-corner measurements can be made. My only gripe is that one of the vials is set at 45 degrees that is no use to me but otherwise this is a super tool.

This is one of the those tools that will be on the job long after I am gone. Accuracy, durability and design all work together to earn this tool a place in my primary kit. Well done and highly recommended.

The level is built very solid. Nice bevel on bottom for leveling pipes or a towel bar. Horizontal bubble is larger for easy viewing.
