Sportspower Rosemead Metal Swing and Slide Set with Slide

The swing set I originally ordered I did not receive, due to gueenb error. It was replaced by another one of equal value, I presume. It is smaller in size but it is sturdy when put together. And the thickness of the material is great. It was easy to put together also. All and all I am satisfied with the set. I am also happy with the fast response when my order was erroneously sent elsewhere.

The media could not be loaded.  Conclusively, this swingset is usable. Just barely. You can find this information in other reviews too but I'll restate it. It's wobbly. Shockingly so. I'm a mechanic so I'm not a novice with nuts and bolts. The slide is a nightmare. Where the slide mounts to frame is the worst part of it to me. I'm going to try to rig it with new hardware but I'm not sure if it will work. Make sure you leave EVERYTHING loose until it's all together.The swingset is shorter than I expected. With short chains, the kids have a very shallow swing arc. The tandem swing is awkward for the kids to use and is small. The plastic caps break when tightening up. Have your own tools ready to put it together. The ones that come with it are just terrible.This part is hard to describe so I will put it in the pictures. Most swingsets, where the chain meets the frame go into a round eyelet. Makes sense. Not this one. The chain is made on to a flat eyelet. So when the swing is swinging the entire chain moves across the flat surface of the eyelet. It's so weird to me that this was designed that way.The kids love it because they have a swingset now and don't know how good a backyard swingset can actually be but I do know and this isn't it.

I was very happy with this purchase. I was going to buy a wooden set, so I read most of the reviews. The children at my house are 5 and 7 yrs old - and most of the wooden sets are recommended for younger children. For the cost I wanted something that would last. The price on this set was great, it was delivered to my door. It took two to put it together. The set is solid. The kids love it. I purchased it because of the circle basket - it's the kids favorite. I also purchased the anchor set.

Two of the cap screws were broken and the foam for the poles, three were ripped. Ended of using duct tape around the foam to keep it further from ripping. As this was a birthday present and no time to send it back. Side note: plan on ordering swingset anchors.

It was actually fun to put together and I love the colors! Everything was labeled clearly and all the parts were there. Here are a couple thoughts. It is a small set compared to the one we had previously - for both the weight limit and that it's for ages 3 - 8 years. Secondly, we tightened the screws so tight that they broke several of the blue plastic safety snap covers. I ended up super gluing the covers together. Not sure how long they will last. Just be careful.

We bought this swing set last spring for our kids and they love it. We were trying to find something affordable, with the most swinging features. We have four small children, so everyone can swing at once on here. We like the plastic covering the chains, to protect the kids from getting their fingers pinched in it. It seems to be holding up pretty good. The slide is a little cheaply made, but it works fine for my little ones.

Went together well. Had a missing part but they resolved in a quickly manner and should receive soon.Granddaughter loves the swing. And so do I.

We ordered this from NC Deals online. It came quickly but there were some essential pieces (metal bar that goes under slide) missing. We had assembled everything except the slide when I contacted the seller who said we would have to return the whole swingset to get the replacement piece. Obviously that would have been much more difficcult so we bought a replacement pipe and cut it to size but still frustrating. The rest of the setup was relatively easy to put together.
