The only 12.7mm slot loading drive i could find that was not crazy expensive.
A good choice if your computer case cant use a regular sized CD / DVD drive. this is a slot loading tray-less CD / DVD reader writer. its 12.7mm tall and uses mini-sata. you will need an adapter cable to use this in a desktop drive bay. Fits fine in my fractal node 804 and would likely fit in any PC case that uses the same style of drive.

Slotless great for tight space
Note cable is NOT 'standard sata data + standard sata power' connection. Needs what I think is called slim sata connection. I needed to avoid extended tray as I use a chair on wheels in a tight area close to my computer which sits on the floor.
