I began to get suspicious. I then tested these loops on sterile agar in sterile conditions. One loop used in my test was chemically sterilized by me as flame sterilization isn’t an option due to these being a polymer/plastic material. Outcome: my fears were verified. The loop i chemically sterilized resulted in plates that showed no contamination. The loops that were used “sterile” as advertised straight from the package induced so much pathogenic results with no innoculant, it was mind blowing. Not only are these loops not in the galaxy of being sterile, it’s almost as if they are abnormally vectors for pathogens. I almost wanted to swab a dogs mouth to see if it would be any worse and decided it wasn’t worth it. I will use the remainder only after physan and iso sterilization and go back to flame streilizable loops. God forbid these ever find themselves in a critical situation. If you gave me 10,000 for free I’d throw them away. Truly shameful product. Shouldn’t be sold under any circumstance.

Very bad quality ones! Even when you try to open the individual pack, the tip bends and breaks off.
