For those interested in displaying rock/mineral specimens, this is good for slices and thinner pieces but not good for more 3D pieces.

These are thinner than the same style of others that are available. If you are not stressing the stand- and just leaving it sit, they are A-OK. If you need Many--cheaper is better. If you want them to be thicker for longevity you may want the more expensive ones. ( I have both styles)...Be careful of shipping time. Mine came earlier than the 1-2 months that was given when I complained after ordering.
