Great Strut
I like KYB, but the shipper did not include the mounting nut and the box was pretty beaten up, recommend adding form or packing popcorn to ease the beating during shipment

Great shocks for my VW Passat
My 2016 VW Passat was rocking and rolling all over the road. These new shocks are great. Now I don't feel like I'm on a roller coaster. Very nice ride now. I commute 40 miles to work over some interesting roads...so I needed something good.

Great for spirited driving, maybe not for regular drivers.
Put about 500 miles on these struts. These struts focus more on performance and handling while taking a little bit away from ride comfort. I prefer to have the extra feeling and firmness since my driving style is more spirited. For drivers that aren't pretending that they're on a race track these may not be quite right. On rough roads you will definitely feel the difference and on long road trips it may become uncomfortable. Overall they're high quality parts that I would say are better than oem performance wise. If you want closer to regular oem parts that balance firmness with comfort perhaps you should take a look at Monroe.

Missing nut
Haven't installed yet but so far the box was demolished and the one strut is missing the nut to mount.
