Waterford Lismore Essence Clock, 5.4", Clear

The clock is truly beautiful and for those out there who may want to affix a personalized, engraved plate on it, this particular clock has the right kind of surface. (Other Waterford clocks are too beveled to affix anything on them.)The packaging was fine except for the black Waterford box containing the clock. The clock was wrapped in bubble wrap and, inside that, the Waterford tissue paper, but the outer black box was torn and crushed in several places. It was definitely not worthy of using as the way to present the gift (in this case, the clock) to a recipient. I'd have to find another box. Amazon recommended returning the clock and box and ordering a new one, and that's what I'm doing. I hope the next box will be in gift-worthy condition.6/10/2014: Presented the second clock and the second Waterford box I received last night to the recipient and she was thrilled. The second set was a result of my product return; the second box was packaged even more carefully than the first and the result was that it was in much better condition. The problem lies in packaging the very heavy clock within the Waterford box. No matter how careful the outer packaging of both may be, the clock shifts its weight within the inner Waterford box, causing stress to the box sides. Perhaps the clock should be packaged separately from the box where both remain in one box, but with enough "padding" to preserve the integrity and fine quality of both.This second set of clock and box was much more to my liking and certainly gift-worthy. Thank you, Amazon, for addressing this problem so promptly!NOTE: The clock face's rim is gold for those of you out there who are wondering. It can appear as either gold- or silver-looking on the website. I had a gold, engraved plate affixed to the flat portion of the clock below the face and it made for a lovely, personalized retirement present.

This Crystal clock was exactly as pictured. It’s beautiful and came in an original Waterford box.

This was a Christmas present, my mom loved it. 9 moths later, it still tells perfect time and looks great. Dial was a little small about the size of a silver dollar so my mom does have a little difficulty seeing it with out her glasses on, still it is really pretty and she loves it. AAAAAA I know. Would recommend it if you are looking for a clock like this type. Not to plain, not to gaudy. Nothing broken in transit, in fact it was very well packed.

This was a gift for my great niece and her fiance.

We ordered two of these as gifts for retiring staff. With Amazon Prime, they came in two days- just in time for the retirement party.The clocks are fairly small, but very heavy for their size. They look nice.Unlike a previous review, ours came well packaged in original Waterford boxes. The clocks themselves were wrapped in Waterford tissue paper, then wrapped in bubble wrap, and placed in their black Waterford boxes. The Waterford boxes were each wrapped in bubble wrap on all six sides then wedged in the outer box with more bubble wrap. One of the Waterford boxes did have some damage, but I'm guessing it was from the pressure of the bubble wrapped heavy clock inside. The bubble wrap probably made the clock too big for the box, which had a small 1" area pushed out slightly.

Loved the Lismore Waterford Crystal Clock BUT the Battery was dead, so the clock doesn't work!! This was a Gift, so very disappointed. We are hoping when the battery is replaced, it will work. Will update further if the clock doesn't work.UPDATE.... Discovered the battery was NOT Dead.....the Clock, itself, is broken and needs repair!!!!! Very disappointed in purchase, wouldn't buy Anymore Waterford from Amazon or this provider!!! The Waterford crystal part is beautiful but expected that because It's Waterford. This was a Gift to a Family member & they insisted on paying to have it repaired....I would rather have returned it!! BUYER....BEWARE

bought it for my son and his wife for there first anniversary they loved it i am a huge fan of waterford crystal absolutley beautiful piece they will enjoy it for many years . great and easy purchase packed with alot of care

sold as new ? is not in original packageing , very poorly packed for shipping just put in a box with news paper not very good at all !Not sure if its real waterford , i have a few waterford pieces , they came in black foam around the piece,this was just toss in a box that was ripped with tissue paper around it . this was a gift that i need in two day not sure if would trust them to send another in time or that it will be any better .
