Amazon Basics Micromink Sherpa Throw Blanket, Not Heated, 220 x 240 cm, Taupe

This was bought for use in these cold evenings & what a difference it makes. It huge (a little bigger than I expected) but extremely warm & fluffy. The colour is exactly as pictured which made it for us as the couches in the room it's used are of the same colour.Very, very good blanket (If a little weighty) but overall excellent value.

Soft, silky and oh so strokable outer - so gorgeous to the touch that I'm tempted to run my hand across it every time I pass by. Thick, cosy teddy bear fleece on the underside to bury yourself into and trap warm air against your body. No sign of shedding and very, very thick. Doesn't slide about on the bed because of that teddy fleece so you'll stay snuggled up and toasty all night.I've marked it down for weight because I bought the largest size they had. I'm doubting that my washing machine will cope well with this when it needs cleaning as it's so large and heavy - wet, it might well damage the spin mechanism. However, I'll be happy to have it cleaned in an industrial sized machine when it needs it. If you're looking for a smaller size, you probably don't need to worry about this.It comes in a wide variety of colours, most of them neutral (pretty good for toning with most colours of decor). If you do want something more vibrant (red, purple etc) you might have to wait a while for them to come back into stock or try elsewhere. Bedsure (also available on Amazon) do something similar but are considerably more expensive.All in all, a very good fleece for a very competitive price and I'm very glad I bought it!

It's lightweight and should be easy to wash but it's not very warm nor very cosy because it's so light.

This is an amazingly warm blanket and, in King Size, huge! It's so soft and cozy it sends my grandson into a state of bliss! We had it on the bed with only a summer quilt and I think it was warmer than just the winter quilt. But I have a couple of warnings: It seems to be shedding very fine pile from the grey side, and they are irritating my nose and my eyes. It's like a pet allergy or hay fever. I've washed it, dried it and vacuumed it with a high suction machine and it's better but not completely cured. If you are immune to itchy eyes and sneezes you've got no worries. But, if you decide to wash it be aware that it wouldn't even fit in my machine. And if it had it would have been over the safe weight limit and would have broken the mechanism. Once it's wet it's INCREDIBLY heavy and unmanageable. Take it to a laundrette and wash and spin it there. Even so it'll take ages to completely dry.A great blanket just a shame about the allergy problem.

Great colour and very soft! Large too but not too heavy! Bought as a Christmas present and my friend loves it!
